I think it is anyway...! A friend and I went to the nurburgring last week. We came back on Friday, but before we left we went for another watch and got talking to a lad with a Black astra VXR on UK plates he was a sqaudy and also had a VW camper van on german plates. We were talking about cars as you do and got around to 300zx's, which i said to him "if you remember those" he looked at me funny and said yeah, i towed one away for scrapping the other day. Now I thought thats strange, and asked was it red and wet inside, as to which he replied yeah and the owners name was Rob... Cant be a coincidence surely?!

I've got 18" wheels so maybe ths space saver wouldn't work anyway? I was thinking about LPGing it which would get rid of the spare all together. Are there any alternative solutions if you do get a puncture? I've used the foam aerosols before on a motorbike and they're ok but not brilliant (don't work well in the wet, only a temporary solution). Is there anything better out there?

Well coming from the 'VW scene' I buy into the less is more attitude when it comes to cars, Even more so when it comes to the engine bay. Now obviously the 'jap/300zx scene' is a bit different but is there any 300's out the with a very minimalist engine bay?? Cheers in advance

Its only took me a year but today me and Gordy (zhoodyx) drove up to glasgow to get some bits from sandy's breakers. Plan was to actually head up and pick up another dash but ended up bringing to bumbers. Luckily the weather was great as we drove 30+ miles back with the targas off and two bumbers squeezed into the back of my TT. Anyways heres the bumbers finally fitted to the NA I'm sure gordy will post up a pic of what my TT looked like when we drove back but if you can imagine the size of standard bumpers and we squeezed front and back in the boot (although not fully closed) !

I'm changing all the front bits on the engine. I have striped it all and replaced all 4 cam seals but I can get the crank gear of to replace this seal. Thoughts???? I'm not sure how to even get behind it to pull it off. I would like to change it as EVERYTHING else is being replaced. I have the bits to place the back plate and gear. I did read about cutting it off but that looks like it could go wrong. Should I just leave it??? Thanks.

My second son was born on Friday so I'm considering my options. I've had my Z since 2004, I was the first UK owner. I bought it from Auto BMC in Watford. It's a genuine '99, S-reg, Skyline Metalic Purple, NA, auto, velour interior, impresive late spec. Just over 80,000 miles, about 50,000 done by me. Standard except: Ace Turbine staggered width 18" wheels, stainless Japspeed exhausts, HID headlights, Sony CD/MP3/Radio with upgraded speakers all round, Apexi air filter, upgraded suspension all round (KYB/Eibach adjustable I think) fitted about 10,000 miles ago. FSH, cambelt done at about 50k, serviced last week by Zedworld with the brief "If something n…

had to whip out the high speed response vehicle earlier to get some urgent tractor bits to a customer earlier today. (any excuse for a drive lol) so had to thrash from wrexham to denbigh through some amazing roads in the welsh countryside :-) on the way i passed,,,,,,,, a bunch of mechanics standing outside their garage one of whom shouted "Bloody hell lads, come look at this! that things amazing! bet it goes like the clappers!" as i was stopped by them. "It does!!!" i replied :-) numerous scantily clad ladies, a couple of them shouted things like "fancy taking me for a spin" etc etc etc (dont think they saw me lol, just the car lol) 2 skylines in c…

This thread is to gauge the interest in buying a module to enable the mirrors on a JDM zed to auto fold and open utilising the ignition/key. The switch can be used as normal, so will not affect it working manually, but have been asked many a time about the facility to auto fold. Will also work in conjunction with a turbo timer:punk: I have had an email from an avid Jap car owner who has made the modules that will work with our JDM mirror switches and will auto fold when the key in the ignition is turned off and will open again when the key is turned. Im looking at having it operate utilising the door solenoids to open and fold using the key fob. Here are …

I am looking to go down the TT/NA rear route, was just wondering if anybody might be interested in my rear end (ooh err missus)... I'll be selling it, after asking around, looking for £150, seems reasonable to me due to the condition and new ball joints etc. Plus if you change yours for this, (not a massive job, it's just pretty heavy all together), it's an ideal time to change you probably coroded brake pipes (as I did)... Standard TT, without suspension/brakes, but all lovely and clean and painted, and new inner and outer HICAS ball joints, done less than 300 miles since fitted back on the car, would be handy for someone with crackered ball joints, plus it's all pa…

Hi bud, I remember in one of your previous threads you had moved your fuse box down to void left by the air con pump. Got any hints and tips on this? I had a go at this at the weekend and it was a pain in the ass lol. It wouldnt fit in the area below the headlight panel because of the power steering pipe (i suppose i could replace this with silicone?) and i couldnt figure out how to fit it in the space left by the air con pump. Mainly because of it awkward shape. Did you have to do any drilling to bolt it in? Thanks
