My Zed is now on jacks and we have a MIG welder, so looks like we're giving it a shot. My question is this - how many sections are there to the sills? Alright guys. New to Z ownership but not new to the world of boost :) just wondering what rwhp people have reached with this kind of setup on a 92 TT LWB aftermarket intake japspeed/catback exhaust Stage 1 chip Boost controller/EBC & at what psi/bar. I was running 300hp on my RX7 with a similar-ish setup @ 11-9psi (staged sequential boost pattern) I'm hoping the sturdy V6 will be up for more than my ****el :)

Can clutch boosters be recon'd.........?

Dont know if anyone can help. But my rear stillen anto roll bars snaped trying to take them off. Does anyone know where i can get them from? Hi all, Im looking at Carbon spoilers as i cant find anything else that will look right on the Carbon boot hatch. Seen a few spoilers for the Zed from the states but £400-£500 for a fibreglass spoiler is way to expensive. Plus it needs to be painted. Plus a painted spoiler on a Carbon boot hatch just isnt going to look right. Ive never been a fan of the Carbon drift style spoilers but ive seen a few that are growing on me. The 1 im looking at is 57" long....What is trhe width of the boot? I dont want the spoiler over hanging ther car. Style im looking at....I may mod it a little buy cutting the brackets down a tad if it looks to high. Its adjustable to…

Hi, I am looking for my 1986 Canadian 300zx.. I sold it to a member of the zx club 10+years ago, in England. It is left hand drive 2+2 non turbo. It was silver/gold (sand pebble) with black interior. My car spoke! If anyone knows if it is still around, can someone let me know who owns it.. after all these years, I have never gotten over selling it, and I want to buy it back and bring it home to Canada. Hi guys and girls i have been searching on here in regards to setting up my timinig but cant find an answer for my question. I checked my timing today and found it to be at 13/14 tdc however when i tried to adjust it the cas unit does not seem to turn either way? Also can you adjust the cas/timing with the engine running? i was turning off and trying to adjust it to be on the safe side. Im using a timinig light and jeffs write up but its not clear if you adjust the timing with the engine running or not. if it is meant to be running will this be why the cas unit does not move with the engine off? Thanks

well today i was doing a bit of tidying around the engine bay and i found a plug at the back of the engine unplugged with black tape covering up something so on further inspection a found a resister connected to the knock senser and it was not connected to the harness for the ecu so if it was still unplugged the sensor would be doing nothing so would i be right and say the resister should be on the ecu side.... would there be a kit for an after market knock senser to be fitted somewhere handernthan stripping half the engine to replace cheers trev

Hi all, I've relocated my PTU to under the nose panel, it's bolted to where the air con condenser attaches to on the passenger side. Where have you all moved yours too as I'm not convinced on my positioning. Cheers

im looking at doing my interior as a summer project. the main thing im cautious of is the suitability of the adhesive, ive heard of horror stories of people doing it and it peeling off in the next sunny day, infact ive seen it happen. :( ive tried searching and looking but sod all just conflicting opinions on 3m products, so who can tell me what a good product is to use. while im on the subject retrimming in leather is obviously very expensive and laboursome. vynal seems a better choice, how strechy/crease resistant is the stuff. ive used self adeshive vynal on my roof bars etc which with a hairdryer was great stuff.

hi there guys, How do you clean electrical connectors? I've developed a miss-fire after changing the loom and deleting the air-con and am starting with bits I've replaced to find the fault. Cheers

I managed to flood the car today, I've removed the fuel pump fused and cranked it over at full throttle a few times but it didn't seem to help. However I don't have and can't find a 5/8th spark plug wrench to take out and dry the plugs. If I leave it until tomorrow do you think the plugs will be dry enough to start the car?

Well it only failed on horn not working, went up there and reconnected the cable which was hanging off it, beep beep and one mot in my hand ;-) Couple of advisories, brake balance on front just in acceptable limits and a chip in window screen. Gonna give the calipers a once over methinks :-)
