Fitted my brake light in the spoiler to day as there was no wires i had to start fresh ,turned out to be an ok job

Hi all I'm new to the forum and my 300zx tt, which I picked up Monday!!! I bought the car knowing that I needed to change the disks and pads but reading through some of your posts on the forum and experiance a little lacking stopping power I'm looking at getting it sorted sooner rarther than later. I'm off to the ring on the 19th in the car for a couple of laps,nothing to hectic!! So was hoping for some advice on what to do without going to mad as I don't want to 1 turn the car in to a track monster. 2 want to keep the cost down!! Is standard breaks and pads ok? Or will they still be lacking that stopping power?? Do I need to go for a big kit upgr…

I recently posted a thread about my zed being swapped from auto to manual transmission before I bought it. It was suggested that I need to earth pin 44 of the ecu to the neutral switch of the gearbox. Can anyone confirm is it definately pin 44 and can I just snip the wire on the harness and earth out to the car body, or does it have to be the gearbox switch. How do I find where the neutral switch is located on the gearbox and how do I attach. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and thanks to all those who replied in my previous thread

Just about to drop my car at the bodyshop and im meeting him at the paint shop on the way to get the stuff. I looked at the paint code yesterday but not im not 100% sure! Im sure its TK3, which ive googled and its shappire blue from a 92-96 zed. Im not with the car so cant double check. Anybody? Cheers

I want to put chip to my Ecu to run 555cc injectors but i got some extra microchips and I just want to know is that microchips is for my racelogic traction control or is just previews Remaped chip. there is a yellow wire from TC which goes to that microchip. Does anyone have Race logic traction control or know what this microchip do ?

Alright guys. New to Z ownership but not new to the world of boost :) just wondering what rwhp people have reached with this kind of setup on a 92 TT LWB aftermarket intake japspeed/catback exhaust Stage 1 chip Boost controller/EBC & at what psi/bar. I was running 300hp on my RX7 with a similar-ish setup @ 11-9psi (staged sequential boost pattern) I'm hoping the sturdy V6 will be up for more than my ****el :)

Hi all, Im looking at Carbon spoilers as i cant find anything else that will look right on the Carbon boot hatch. Seen a few spoilers for the Zed from the states but £400-£500 for a fibreglass spoiler is way to expensive. Plus it needs to be painted. Plus a painted spoiler on a Carbon boot hatch just isnt going to look right. Ive never been a fan of the Carbon drift style spoilers but ive seen a few that are growing on me. The 1 im looking at is 57" long....What is trhe width of the boot? I dont want the spoiler over hanging ther car. Style im looking at....I may mod it a little buy cutting the brackets down a tad if it looks to high. Its adjustable to…

Hi, I am looking for my 1986 Canadian 300zx.. I sold it to a member of the zx club 10+years ago, in England. It is left hand drive 2+2 non turbo. It was silver/gold (sand pebble) with black interior. My car spoke! If anyone knows if it is still around, can someone let me know who owns it.. after all these years, I have never gotten over selling it, and I want to buy it back and bring it home to Canada. Hi guys and girls i have been searching on here in regards to setting up my timinig but cant find an answer for my question. I checked my timing today and found it to be at 13/14 tdc however when i tried to adjust it the cas unit does not seem to turn either way? Also can you adjust the cas/timing with the engine running? i was turning off and trying to adjust it to be on the safe side. Im using a timinig light and jeffs write up but its not clear if you adjust the timing with the engine running or not. if it is meant to be running will this be why the cas unit does not move with the engine off? Thanks
