i was feeling rather smug that i'd bagged a solid low miles z for peanuts. it was an auto tt with faded paint and needing the obvious manual conversion. i dropped lucky on a shared donor car buy, then got cracking with the work planned.na diff/ box, undersealed, suspension change ,air filter the usual. i got this far as i say feeling pretty smug that all this was achieved under the price of 1500. but then i bought dump valves and tonight a short shifter and gearstick top .then next week its the front mount . then the paint.then the wheels............yes i've just come back to reality and realised the car is gonna cost a fortune!!!!!! f**k , afterthought...big brakes!!!! can…

Hi people, Ok, I have just purchased some NGK BKR7EIX-2667 plugs. These are the colder rated plugs that I need, due to all my engine upgrades, as I am getting det over 14psi on the ol' tubs. I just need to know what is the best gap to set these little puppies to....... Been advised on 0.6mm. Is this correct? Cheerz people, Alz.

So, i've had a busy morning today fitting a Trust air filter, Apex Dump Valves and a Grounding Kit :) All went well, and really happy. Bad news is, my exhaust plans have changed... I currently have a twin exit Kakimoto exhaust, which sounds lovely. The right hand back box though has blown it's baffles out, so the plan was to convert it to a single exit system (so i can keep the Kakimoto). After starting it up today and giving it some to test the dump valves, i've noticed the left hand back box baffles are starting to blow out too :( So, long story short, i'm going to be now looking for a new exhaust. Think i'm going for a quad system but what is gene…

Has anyone got any advice on how to remove an original spoiler? Or is it just a case of applying heat and trying to pull it off? I wasn't sure if there are screws holding it on. So far I've only managed to break the ends off.

Well after worrying about the nuts/studs sheering off whilst doing this decat install so far they have been a piece of p*$$ to undo it's getting a spanner on the top ones that been the problem. Ok, got 3 out of the 4 nuts & bolts off the passenger side. Still have the top studs drivers side to do, which seem to have less access The one stud I'm having problems with is the lower stud, nearest the transmission tunnel. In the picture you can just make it out next to the mirror. Do i need to remove the O2 sensor to get better access? If so is there a special tool for removing it as I think it's a 22mm nut on the one thats higher up. If I need to get the…
