is my car safety boosting? i have stock guages and it was showing max when boosting but now its only showing three quarter boost.

Hi all need some advise on fitting my 99spec front as my front mount intercooler hits the bumper first how have over people done there's if they have at all

Just personal curiosity really. Every now and then (about once every 2 months or so) when I start up my car and pull away the speedo won't work and the steering will be real heavy. All I do to rectify it is switch the engine off and back on. Just wondered what was causing it...

im not sure wht ive got but on comparison to stock they dont look right. the standard front pipe has a 90 degree bend at the end, the japspeed about 45 degrees im confused? hav ei got non tuirbo ones? none of this is on the car atm btw.

EDITED: K ignore the title just thought id ask for help from the experts again for their wisdom about offsets and so on. i want rota GTR-d front 9.5j offset ET25 Rear 10.0j offset ET35 Whaddya think?

Passed the test today, no advisories either, but we had to fiddle with the headlamps a bit to line them up, HiDs next job to do:dance::dance:

hi there, could someone please point me in the direction of a thread for the instructions on changing the gearbox and diff oil please. my search keeps telling me theres no results no matter what i search for :-(

as abovereally, i went into halfrauds a few months back and with the paint code they sold me a rattle can of black. but it was pretty far off when i sprayed a test patch. any ideas where i can get the right colour? cheers

just took her out for a last bit of spirited driving, accelerating in 2nd, hard shifted to 3rd and bang :/ managed to limp her home but 3rd gear was writing off and the gearbox sounded like a bag of spanners. just weighing up my options now, what am i looking at for a new gearbox fitted? tbf, I doubt i've got the money to do it for a while as per my old thread so if anyone wants to shoot me offers for the car or bits off it nows the time, cba with her atm

Hi all i just fitted my Carbon rear hatch. I just cant decide what to do and looking for some ideas or suggestions in what spoiler to go for. I quite like the non spoiler look but for this build i think the car should have one...But what one? Any ideas? The Bomex rear skirt isnt fitted and im going to have the A piller and tops of the doors painted black but here is a few pics to go on. Thanks Dan

I was having my wheel alignment done and the bloke said a bush in the rear suspension was worn and should be replaced (I'd do both sides). It was the lower bush in the round (circular) metal part which fits over each rear shock and sits around it - if that makes sense? Is there a diagram anywere?

right i was sorting out the wiring on my sidelights(they were damaged ) any way got them working properly but the light fellout my hand when powerd up and shorted now all im getting is full beams on all three click with the full beam symbol on the dash and the fogs arnt working iether bulbs are fine think it might be a fuse checkd the fuse box in the engine bay and theyr all good any ideas thanks

Right, looking to sell my engine that is currently in my TT. It's done 66k miles full service history Nissan dealers & Zedworld. The car/engine has a massive histroy file! Silverbullet replaced the cambelt tensioners ect. 1.5 years ago, only about 3k miles since then. Great oil pressure and non smoking turbos. The buyer could see/hear it running as I have nothing to hide. I even have the RR printout from when I first bought it obviously it's done 4-5k since then, but as I say I've nothing to hide and any inspection welcome. I'm only looking to do this so as I can progress faster with my performance engine rebuild. So over to you guys what would it be w…

Is anyone aware if glass can be restored? I have fairly deep scratches in both door windows. the car is currently in for a respray so i'm worried the windows will look crap. If they can be polished, i'd probably get the whole lot done Thanks

Few questions about diffs. I'm looking to get a quaife ATB on my car. Firstly, any reasons why not? Anyone got one and is it worth it. Second, i believe I've got to send my diff casing into quaife so they can fit it and space it etc. Is this so? If So I was thinking of getting a diff from a breaker, send that in, then its straight swap when mines getting done. Final question, my far was an auto TT. Now converted to manual TT. And is a UK. Apart from the oil cooler, are there any differences in diff casings. Cheers in advance. Danny
