anybody got the above showing wire colours to colours please

I didn't actually see it myself, but I was told that someone came and picked up some hifi from the shop where I work (Creative Audio) on Saturday in a Red convertable Zed!

:scared:i recently Replace o rings under balance bar and re connected all the hoses and when i started the engine all was good until a small amount of smoke came trickling up the back centre of engine with a hint of a oily smell just wondered if any one would know what this was and could point me in the right direction as to fix it.

to do the runners up each side of the windscreen, has anyone got away with just painting them, rather than doing it with plastidip etc? just wondering before i buy the stuff

The zed should be going in for the MOT tommorow. Im not expecting a pass but hopefully there shouldnt be too much for it to fail on Very nervous as its taken me over 4yrs to get it ready to be used again and im hoping that 99% of it is all fine. would be a huge bonus if i just receive a few advisories. So fingers crossed. What are the exhaust fumes test allowances for a tt uk zx? As mine is probably a little high as its not been run in yet.

as above. I have had the dreaded notice through. Normally in the past I have just held my hands up and thought yep thats fair enough no point arguing but this time I knew the van was there. The sneaky buggers- hide the otherside of a bridge which has two lanes into one into a 30..which also no longer runs past a school as it used to as the brdige was moved several years ago.... I digress. I know I was watching the speed long beofre I came over the bridge and the car in front was going slowly enough as well and oncoming traffic was warning everyone on my side. So this time I am sowmehat adamant i was not dong 41 in a 30! I fear it may just be easier to go fair enoug…

I thought I would post this in the hope that some of those more active in the zed community than me may come across something. It is a entirely stock 'L' reg'93 import NA LWB in silver. There are a few subtle things that would allow me to identify the car as a whole. However, as I imagine the car is now, or will be very soon, in pieces it may be more difficult to identify. perhaps it is a long shot but i just ask that if anyone is offered any suspect…

I dont know about you, but i still have so much to do on the zed, but cant drum up the enthusiasm at the minute :hammer: I look at bits that need doing and think, i must do that soon, then i just get in it and drive it :cool3: Im sure once the weather gets a little warmer, i might feel more up to it, but at the moment i just cant be arsed :sad: Dont get me wrong, i love the zed to bits and it will get finished, must be the time of the year :closedeyes: Anyone else feel the same?

This is a bit of a difficult situation... I was so close to purchasing an impreza STI Type R (classic 2 door) but suddenly a local TT manual 300zx came up for a little less money. The idea was to get a car which my gf would drive as her first (we cant have 2 cars as there isnt room so has to be one car which is fast, has some degree of practicality and is relatively user friendly)... now we were both set on the Scoob (despite my worries over DCCD and engine failure), but suddenly a 300z has appeared from nowhere. Hi Guys Wondered if you guys could be kind enough to give me a link to the exact HID KIT I need for my 300zx My 300 TT 1991 JAP IMPORT so it has the jap head light bulbs It does not need to be off ebay - I need to get one delivered before Saturday as I am taking it to a garage for MOT etc and they said they could also fit but don't sell them. well just got back from zedworld and im amazed at just how much was wrong with my zed!! jeff and jamie spent the whole day on it and found a list of things as long as your arm!! somehow the car dyno'd at bang on 300hp even though; the cambelt has been set a tooth out and to compensate the fitter (not jeff obv) had the timing set to 7 degrees advanced. the boost controller was not only wired wrong but plumbed in wrong. it had about 7 boost leaks including a major one from what jeff suspects is the plenem ( again were another fitter had not sealed it properly.) added to that the right hand intake pipe hadnt had the jubilee clips done up so was flopping …

any hints or tips on cleaning the inside of the headlights bets cleaning solutions clothes..ect thanks

ive seen a clip on youtube of a standerd white zed the same as mine with chrome standerd wheels they look great and want this for mine ,seen a set from the states for $1400 but was thinking it may be cheaper to just get mine chromed ,anyone done this before or know where i can get them done in the south hampshire:cool3:

Hi Guys, Ive emailed Meister R and a couple of BC coilover outlets, searched the tinternet but also thought I would ask on here.. Can you get an adjustment link so you adjust the rear dampers with the trims in place that fit BC coilovers?? Been on Meister R site and cannot find a link to their own product.. Cheers

Well i have gone from selling my zed to booking into the bodyshop for next week! Its going in for rear arches and front bumper and sills being tidied up. Plus im going to get my arse in gear and get the coilovers fitted, the de cats and if my budget goes to plan ill be looking at new wheels to :)

What do you think guys about open mid pipes ? does it makes any performance. turbo cars exhausts air have to move freely as possible so if mid pipes a open does it make better? o is just a sound? and how does open pipes looks like? this is video from youtube, for me sound is great

Any ideas here? The car is revving at over 2000. Yesterday I changed the balance bar. Could this have a similar effect? Also changed the cruise control unit
