As alot of you know its been a long battle with more downs than ups, but its, almost done now. Today i replaced the power steering pump(still very heavy steering) but need to refil fuel so can run engine more and bleed the steering system up more. The engine i got of kjz32(keith) runs sweet. Clutch and gearbox are perfect And today me and my dad got all the lights and interior pods working again, and the horns. I now just need a front tyre, refit front bumper, seal a exhaust joint and replace both hicas arm end bushes and it will be ready for mot. I expect it to fail first time but not on much(hopefully). This will then give me my final list of jobs to…

Hi all, Can anyone suggest what might be the cause of my vibration? I have a UK TT manual converted 300 which I have just fitted the following: HICAS lockout bar all bushes and track rods and ball joints plus a new one piece prop shaft from Jeff at Zedworld. All works fine until I get to about 65mph then I get a nasty vibration which is coming through the divers seat and floor; I have had all the wheels checked and balanced and even put the old ones on just to be sure its not the wheels and it still happens ??? Any help as always gratefully received Marv

Hey guys, got some second hand leather seats for the zed, which were delivered today. I didn't realise they were electric though as my old ones aren't. Does anyone know if it's possible to wire these up or is it too much hassle? I'm not too bothered really, just thought if it's there i might as well use it if i can. Wouldn't know where to start though.

I have a friend of m sisters who works in film and they are looking for 80's cars to use in a film about he stone roses. Set in 1990, tbh unless it's an 89 uk spec in original form then the z32 is a bit new, however (daz...) would anyone who has a z31 be interested in being involved. I think most of the cars would be just used for street dressing I think there would be a small cash payment to cover expenses. Not sure on details as yet but really scouting for interest. :-)

I've been changing over the tt power steering pump for a n/a one. I see the pulley wheels dont line up, but has anyone managed to make a tt pulley fit the na pump and line up properly??. If so what size shimmy would make it fit the correct alignment to the lower pulley wheel?. I know it would be easier to simply get a 3pk belt, but was just wondering if it could be done, lol.

Has anyone had any joy using something like this instead of silver bulbs for the clear rear lights? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/18-SMD-LED-Indicator-Bulbs-NISSAN-300ZX-/140576500367?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item20bb032a8f

The cars gone to the body shop today and we test fitted the fibreglass rear spoiler last night, quick question, is there another trim piece to fit on the rear lip of the boot lid as fitting the replacement fiberglass leaves a big hole in the middle and to me would look unfinished??? Thanks Daz.

Looking for a bit of advice here.. I will be having a full leather retrim soon. I had planned out the design that i wanted. Main colour black with a very light grey detail. All the tweed panels retrimmed in the light grey. The car is black. However, there is quite a high possibility that the car will be painted white. In which case, will this leather colour scheme work? I am a bit worried that the grey and white wont go. Any other suggestions? I dont want to go all black. I want the interior to be a little brighter. I like red, but all of my engine detail is blue. That wont work! Oh, and i dont like blue leather lol Whats your thoughts?

  20. Hi again guys, I'm wondering if someone from the North London/Hertfordshire area may be able to do me a small favour... of course, I will repay in some form 'cos I'm nice like that... Basically, there's a 300zx thats for sale down there, which is about 3 hours or so drive from me. I'm off away on business in a couple of days and am really interested in it, but cant get down before I go and would guess it'll probably be sold by the time I get back. I'm wondering if someone local to them is able to have a quick look at/drive of the car for me and let me know what its like, if its worth buying, if its in good nick or has loads of problems, and if I'd need to s…
