I was having my wheel alignment done and the bloke said a bush in the rear suspension was worn and should be replaced (I'd do both sides). It was the lower bush in the round (circular) metal part which fits over each rear shock and sits around it - if that makes sense? Is there a diagram anywere?

Right, looking to sell my engine that is currently in my TT. It's done 66k miles full service history Nissan dealers & Zedworld. The car/engine has a massive histroy file! Silverbullet replaced the cambelt tensioners ect. 1.5 years ago, only about 3k miles since then. Great oil pressure and non smoking turbos. The buyer could see/hear it running as I have nothing to hide. I even have the RR printout from when I first bought it obviously it's done 4-5k since then, but as I say I've nothing to hide and any inspection welcome. I'm only looking to do this so as I can progress faster with my performance engine rebuild. So over to you guys what would it be w…

29, no NCB, half decent area, only a named driver on another car, alloys included, 3k a year, 35 days EU cover, full AA, all convictions (even though from 9 years ago, they asked), £204.86!!! 6 years working on her, and in a couple of days, I'll actually be able to drive her, so say I am chuffed is the understatement of the year, I've had 3 sex wees already :) :) :)

Is anyone aware if glass can be restored? I have fairly deep scratches in both door windows. the car is currently in for a respray so i'm worried the windows will look crap. If they can be polished, i'd probably get the whole lot done Thanks

Few questions about diffs. I'm looking to get a quaife ATB on my car. Firstly, any reasons why not? Anyone got one and is it worth it. Second, i believe I've got to send my diff casing into quaife so they can fit it and space it etc. Is this so? If So I was thinking of getting a diff from a breaker, send that in, then its straight swap when mines getting done. Final question, my far was an auto TT. Now converted to manual TT. And is a UK. Apart from the oil cooler, are there any differences in diff casings. Cheers in advance. Danny

Every time my other half drives my car, something seems to go wrong. Last time it was a turbo problem which resulted in a trip to Zedworld. Today I drove to town, no probs. granted I had the stereo blaring away. On the way back, Dave drove, and we soon noticed an alarming scraping noise every time we went over a bump. Checked and found the front inner wing liner has come away and is rubbing on the tyre. He managed to do a temporary ' shove it out of the way' type repair but it's yet another thing on the to do list. Huh. On a plus point tho, whilst ruffling around in the boot I found some unused targa covers I didn't even know I had

Can anyone who has 19" rims tell me what they are like on their car, is the ride comfort drastically effected, do the tyres wear quickly and how does the car handle with them. I have spotted some rims on ebay which I like, they are deep dish 5 spokes, 8.5 fronts and 9.5 rears. I have asked if they could be supplied in 18" rims, but they are only available in 19's

Just been cleaning the car a little today, but seeing as,its currently 20shades of red from the spraying tidying up the bodywork over the last couple of years it looks like a respray is gonna be called for. Has anyone recently had a respray done?. Im not wanting to change the colour or go for anything fancy, just a simple standard ag2 red respray. Question is how much would i be looking at for a repaint?

Hi folks, Got a problem with the driver's side front indicator. The bulb won't illuminate, so i checked the bulb and the bulb is fine, I even tried another new bulb just in case, but still didn't work. So, checked all the fuses (couldn't tell which was which - due to jap writing) which were also fine. So not really sure what's next. It was working fine, but on a recent long run I noticed that the right turn signal was flashing at double speed, so thought it was just the bulb.. Any suggestions? Many thanks - Leo

Today was an open pit lane track day at Silverstone using the full GP circuit(and pit facilities) so I went along as usual to meet up with BobGenie and ride shotgun in his slicktop. We were surrounded by lots of expensive high powered machinery. 911 Turbo S to one side. GT3 RS to the other. a pair of very quick Bms two pits away etc. The slicktop drew many admiring looks and comments and didnt look out of place at all. With a refreshed engine just installed by Dan Turner's advanced Motorsport workshops near Silverstone the car was on blistering pace. Several guest passengers had rides with Bob in the morning. After lunch Bob was really on it ... so I s…
