Hi Eggs, I'm 27 the car is not kept in a great area but is garaged and has alarm and immobiliser 1500miles p.a. The policy cost £248 including admin and breakdown cover. The only stipulation was that I be insured on another car so I had to add myself to my parents policy. This cost another £80 for a year so in total the policy was 330, which is around half the next best quote so all in all I'm pretty happy!

had a similar thing as Vods ..too many mods to insure me with FJ ......shame really as mine and vods cars are well known on here for the heart ache and effort we have put in both me and Vods are passionate about our motors and have improved nearly every aspect of them , brakes, suspension, bodywork, paintwork, interior etc etc ....

so cant really understand why we can not get insured with FJ....i have limited millage 3000 per year, cat 1 alarm imobiliser garaged down my drive with locked iron gates best i have had is 420 fully comp, good post code, 52, insured on my ML 55 AMG ...3 points in 2008

The only obvious differences are in the mileage and the value so i'm guessing that's what is making the difference. I'm surprised it's that much different though
