Hi all, just a quick one. The problem I have is that last yr I manged to get some Brembo calipers for my fronts. They were off an evo. Last yr Dazvert manged to get me some brackets done. I previously had sent him a front 350z front disc but it was found to be to small when it was all set up. Could anyone give me any ideas of what size I need. Just I want to order and I'm stuck in the house. Is it 324/5mm. Cheers

When I lightly rev the engine, as she comes down from say 2000rpm I get what can only be described a dry bearing squeal. Could this be the cam belt tensioner bearing? or am I looking at something more sinister? If it is the cam belt bearings, is it possible to oil/grease them? If so, how big a job is it?

my car has seemed to developed a running problem. its not all the time though and mostly occurs when its wet or been raining (which is pretty much everyday recently). i thought it may have been the plugs so got them replaced with upgraded iridium ones. hasn't made a difference though. it only happens at low revs, but once i give it a bit of throttle it clears up. its starting to really annoy me now. so any ideas of what it could be and how to fix would greatly be received! by the way the car is a 90 na import.

As some of you may have noticed, Reluctantly I have my Zed FS. As enthusiast forums FS threads have turned a blank, I may have to advertise to the riff raff err ... general public :pinch: Were would be the best place without attracting too many timewasters and tyre kickers ? I'm thinking: PH - would be full of dreamers. Ebay - unsure of fees for selling a car, imagine it costs a bomb, anyone know the actual costs ? (and also a lot of timewasters I imagine). Autotrader and hope for not too many daydreamers seems the safest bet. Anyone have any input or other suggestions ?

  12. just had the zed taken in to have the 4 wheel tracking done today and they said my front & rear camber are out (i know about it as i lowered the car but not fitted adjustable arms yet) anyway they said rear was adjustable. according to their computer the rear camber arm is on a concentric bush making it adjustable, they couldn't do it as they couldn't shift the bolt but is this so on standard zed suspension? i always thought rear was fixed thats why we have to buy adjustable camber arms

Hi, Right, I’ve got a KOYO rad on my car and both the (plastic) top plug and bottom drain plug have seen better days. I’ve driven myself to the brink of hair removal (by self extraction) looking ….. Has anyone found or know of a place to get replacement parts for these rads. Or had a similar issue and replaced with suitable alternative parts. The thread on these plugs (or at least) the top one is about 10mm external diameter but is definitely not an M10. The guy at the local nut and bolt specialty store said it looked like a British standard thread, so either BSW or BSP….. Cheers. Ah, forgot to mention that last week I used the contact option o…

  15. I've struck a deal with a driver on DW for some nice JDM rimmage and I'm collecting them this Saturday from Castle Combe. Nice deep dish on 9j front/10j rear though I'm going to have to roll the rear arches a tad next week to have it all ready for Japfest (tickets and track pass arrived today) :nana2:

i finally decided to pull the door card off and inspect why my door has been unlocking on the central locking but not locking. the answer turned out to be what i thought itt would be a worn accutator or on its way out anyways, unlocking it was snap and sharp but on the locking it was slow and didnt fully engage the lock. so jeff will be getting a call tomorrow so i cabn replace it asap, however, in the process of fighting the bugger out what a faff seriously, ive forgotten how all the little joining rods came apart ive done some but still have two floating around that i cant rember what they were for. i cant manually lock the door now (no biggy the car is in my garage)so …

  24. Hi, Have not posted here for ages, but I am now having a problem that I am struggeling to get to the bottom of. Had the Z'ed (1993 NA) for 12 years and so far managed to sort most things myself. The issue is the 'feel' in the brake pedal after driving for a while (and also after leaving the car just to idle for 20 - 30 minutes). The pedal is nice and firm when it is cold, but when it get hot under the bonnet there is a spongy feel if you keep pressing the pedal for 30 - 60 seconds (feels OK to start with and it passed the Irish NCT - MOT eqvivalent without any problems as it is now). After pressing for a while the pedal start to slowly give, and will get closer …

I've got a turbo that needs rebuilding with a 360° bearing set. Its been stripped down and professionally cleaned and balanced. And I've got a garret 360° rebuild kit for a second turbo to be done too. Is there anyone on here that can rebuild them properly?.
