Hi Gary, Finally received the Boss and was going to fit it today but it is the wrong one... Did yours look like this? Trying to decide if my car has been modified or if Luke has genuinely sent me the wrong one.

Whilst dealing with a faulty handbrake with next to no holding force I was not suprised to discover poor brake shoes, in fact one shoe had the entire shoe material missing but what was unexplicable was there was no matrial in the drum area, which means at some time someone either DIY or garage have replaced the drum Knowing there was shoe material comletely missing!! as the present owner has no interest in working on the mechanics of his zed means this occured during its previous ownership...just shocking!! Has anyone had any experience of the Driftworks bushes, they are a fair bit cheaper than the powerflex and superflex equivalents and ideally looking for bushes that it isnt required to leave part of the old bush casings in when fitting them.

so i got my zed out today and noticed the psi on the oil was sitting just over 60 when cold which i think is normal, but when its up to temp and all is running well the needle is sitting just over the 0 and under the next line ,seems its a common fault and its to do with the oil sender or pressure switch anyone had this problem before

This topic has probably been done to death, but here it goes..... Following on from jeffs advice at zedworld on wednesday (new cambelt, waterpump and thermostat fitted.......thanks all at zedworld :) ) bought a set of standard platinum NGK plugs and changed them today. The irdium NGK's that came out were the ones listed for a zed, but look at the difference! Cant get over how much shorter the iridiums are!.The engine is now running so much better throughout the rev range, feels more powerful and its cured my lumpy idle, so thanks jeff........i will be giving iridium plugs a wide berth! :)

Absolutely gutted so hoe somebody knows better.. Bought a set of BC coilovers from Coolq in January. Apparently nearly new so paid £300 for them. Just been to have them adjusted and set properly as the wheels are catching and told that the bottom plates are ceased. They will need to be sent off, plates cut off and new ones put on.. probably costing me a couple of hundred quid.. gutted doesnt come in to it.. MOT due this week a well and car drives like a pup.... Anybody any thoughts on how I can sort them without costing a fortune? should have waited till the end of this year and bought a new set I know..

Can anyone help please? When I start the "Z" from cold, as soon as I touch the accelerator pedal I get a rapid clicking noise and she bogs down as I pull away. I think the noise is coming from behind the bulk head in the engine bay on the drivers side. Almost as if it was coming from the dash itself. Strange thing is, it does not happen once she is warm!! Can anyone shed some light please? as it is driving me mad!!

Hello there.. the battery clamp is not an MOT fail... some may put in( or should I say, lack of it) as a note in the advicements.. but thats more like a nod to owner incase you didnt notice and incase you are the type who speed up for bridges. OK , concerning you getting one for free from me... Its easy to make you one I've been thinking. The bars I can make from some M6 studding so you can fit any size battery you like, and then I'll just trim and hook the ends. The cross member can easy be made from a peice of titanium.. thats as flash as I can be...If you want the original part only instead that too is fine.. its yours but..How are you going to get …

After my other post about Jeff's advice on using greenstuff pads for road use I've been having a look. Since EBC say these are only for vehicles up to 200bhp I'm struggling to find the right set for the zed. I've found some dubious listings that say 300zx but go on to list it as a 2 litre but I've used their part number and found the same pads on Camskill, can anyone confirm if these will fit please? 120x70x14 on the diagram. http://www.camskill.co.uk/m31b0s3064p17330/EBC_BRAKE_PADS_EBC_V4_GREENSTUFF_BRAKE_PADS_-_DP21200_-_EBC_Greenstuff_Brake_Pads_

Need Help! Got carried away on eBay and bought myself the above without doing any research! It has dual cones. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150779666245?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Can anyone tell me if this will bolt straight on or will it need new mass airflow meters etc? I'm also thinking of getting the car remapped - will this need doing before bolting on? Based in the midlands, does anyone know of anwhere that does this? Help GREATLY appreciated!

Does anyone happen to know the measurement of doors on a z32. Talking about the horizontal length of the door, doesn't have to be 100% accurate but close. Would measure this myself but the car is in a lockup a few miles away Thanks

Ok so the slicky is now a TT for this season and its first outing is this weekend. If all goes well its competing next weekend at Wiscombe nr Honiton aswell. The car has just come back from mapping and is running on just 7psi for the moment to see how things go...but is producing 328 bhp and has a almost flat torque curve of 312lbs so so just over 25% uplift from the power I had in the NA for the last two seasons. Be great if any club members could make one of the meetings! Cheers
