can anybody point me in the right direction for getting some new bleed nipples for a set of 350z brembo calipers . ive tried the main dealers and they are a no goer. the problem im having is that the car shops ive tried sell nipples with a different angle on the base so are not sealing as well as they should . ive searched all over the net for brembo part suppliers and up to now have had no luck . really need the exact things . any pointers will be much appreciated thanks andy

Well i drove the car this morning up to the garage for some repairs and an MOT, And tbh it was dreadful to drive. Steering was very vague, pulling to the left and had no real confidence in it at all. Now on closer inspection at the garage it has very noticeable camber on the front, i take it this can be corrected without the need to buy adjustable parts? Is there anything else that may cause this? Cheers in advance.

I thought I should share this with everyone.:whistling: Having successfully bled the clutch, I moved on to adjusting the travel in the pedal. I mean, how difficult can it be?:excl: Well after removing the front seat, (Jea*^s there are heavy!) along with some of the dash, I managed to crawl under the dash to see what lay ahead. (felt like I was tunnelling out of Auschwitz) Anyway, with one 14mm spanner and some long nose pliers, I set about winding out the screw bit by bit. After 3 or 4 adjustments and climbing in and out to test there was still no improvement? Now here's the funny bit, The break pedal was absolutely brilliant!!:blushing: After salvaging my t…

I'll try to keep this simple. Currently fitted: stock injectors stock ECU MAF removed and replaced with 2 x independent filters (obviously lumpy and undriveable at the moment) This week I will be: *keeping stock injectors fitting MAP sensor fitting AEM EMS (previously run on a zed running 740 injectors) my question is this: Q. Is it possible to simply fit the MAP sensor and then replace the stock ECU with the AEM EMS but leave the stock injectors in situ untill a later date and still be driveable (ie. despite the EMS being set up for 740 injectors)?

Hello peeps! Well after fitting some new shocks yesterday as always there is another new problem to sort!! My passenger Door will not open!! Tried the handle on the outside and the inside and it just will not open... The internal lock looks like it's moving when I lock and unlock it with the central locking but it just will not open using any handle... The million doller question is how can I take the interior door trim off while the door is shut!!! Im guessing a rod or something has come loose from the door release mechanism . Really feel up creek without a paddle on this on, the passenger window still operates but don't wanna lower it too much incase somethi…

Seeing as I was replacing my lower front ball joint and my anti-roll bar drop links, I turned my attention to the front shockies - best to replace before they totally rust away maybe? I can't really justify £500+ for coilovers, so what's a decent replacement for the standard shockies? I have Eibach springs fitted and want to keep them...what are my options? Cheers - Andy

Hi guys, What's your opinions on the 2. Standard v's updated. Had 18 before, and went back to standard and was amazed how better it drive. Then went for another set of 18 again lol, and tyres are low and standard set of wheels come up with 4 new tyres, so have put them on till get 18 refurbed with new tyres. But this time went back to standard it seems to drive worse, seems like it has lots of body roll and I mean lots, and no grip but more on the front wheels, if I hit a roundabout a bit fast the front just slides away, never had this on a z allways the back broke 1st. I have now sorted all my suspension problems, hicas bushes went na re…

Today i shall be mostly feeling like a kid in a candy shop. I dont think ive said "ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh" to myself so many times in such a short period of time. I feel it is my duty to share pictures of these parts with you. I shall spare you the tedious stuff like general gaskets, pumps and switches..... So here is the interesting stuff: A general overview of lovelyness; First up is these, Z1 Uprated Side Mount intercoolers: To make the most of these (and the other parts) 2.5 inch bore intercooler piping finished in powdercoated glass black with new couplers and T bolt jubilees. Even at stock boost, these …

Decided to bleed the clutch to see if it would take up any of my excessive pedal travel, Bled it from both points and it reduced the travel by half, Does this mean I can adjust the rest of the travel out from under the dash? One thing that I have noticed since bleeding, is that I get a squealing noise through the full length of the pedal travel, a bit like a rusty hinge. Is there any way I can grease/oil the offending parts?
