How reliable is the stock ECU on the 300ZX? The majority of these were built in the early 90's around the same time as the Mitsi GTO. Having had 3 GTO's two of which had ECU failiures, its something I would like to address, before it could happen again. it seems the capacitors used on the circuit board to build the GTO's ECU only had a 15 year life span, which wasnt known at the time of production. Capacitors started to leak, ECU's started to get false readings, start over compensating for things that werent happening, and caused BIG problems in the engines. I know a guy who does stock ECU rebuilds, replacing all ECU components with original OEM spec parts…

Been looking to do this for a while but just want to get people's opinions first ! Just sold my NA and will be using some of the funds to kit out my TT with a full driftworks kit. The full shabang including Hicas, Traction rods, Camber Arms, Toe rods And Bushes. A tidy some for it all but any recommendations before I commit to buy it all.

]Is in a really bad place right now, some c**t clipped my back end yesterday when going round a roundabout which put me into a spin, smashed the kerb & barrier bending my n/s rear under the car @ 45 degrees totalling my rear bumper & rear wing! & i was only on my to MOT it :-( Seriously bad f**kin times. Probably didn't help that the i put the rear wheels on the wrong way round after my last trip to the pod, which may expalin why i lost traction so easily & span :-( As a result i won't be able to make Japfest so 2 tickets plus stand pass for the car available :-(

Hi bud, I'm on the hunt for a few parts. Let me know if you have any available. My car is in Glasgow at the mo. the engine has been installed but the jigsaw of putting it all back together has begun. As expected some parts are missing/broken. Intercooler ducts Large intercooler brackets (i have the small ones) NA PAS pump That's all I can think off at the mo, but I'm sure there's more

My first try at carbofibre which sorted of worked ....! but it will do the job. The fan unit is from a pug 206 which was kicking around and I think it's about 150W-180W motor which should keep the Zed cool this summer....! when it come back !

can anybody point me in the right direction for getting some new bleed nipples for a set of 350z brembo calipers . ive tried the main dealers and they are a no goer. the problem im having is that the car shops ive tried sell nipples with a different angle on the base so are not sealing as well as they should . ive searched all over the net for brembo part suppliers and up to now have had no luck . really need the exact things . any pointers will be much appreciated thanks andy

Well i drove the car this morning up to the garage for some repairs and an MOT, And tbh it was dreadful to drive. Steering was very vague, pulling to the left and had no real confidence in it at all. Now on closer inspection at the garage it has very noticeable camber on the front, i take it this can be corrected without the need to buy adjustable parts? Is there anything else that may cause this? Cheers in advance.

I thought I should share this with everyone.:whistling: Having successfully bled the clutch, I moved on to adjusting the travel in the pedal. I mean, how difficult can it be?:excl: Well after removing the front seat, (Jea*^s there are heavy!) along with some of the dash, I managed to crawl under the dash to see what lay ahead. (felt like I was tunnelling out of Auschwitz) Anyway, with one 14mm spanner and some long nose pliers, I set about winding out the screw bit by bit. After 3 or 4 adjustments and climbing in and out to test there was still no improvement? Now here's the funny bit, The break pedal was absolutely brilliant!!:blushing: After salvaging my t…
