hi peeps i was out n teh zed yesterday , first time i have had it on the road since taxing and filling up with fuel , went to pick up thekids from school , in first when seting off the gearbox or diff, not sure which sounds like it should be on a touring car what a noise !!! like a dog box or straight cut gearbox...whatcould cause this the noise goes away if i drive a bit faster or go up to third , fourth gear>??? dont tell me after al this time and just geting the car back thegearbox is letting go !! help !!! kaza :no:

Guys Am clearing out my garage, I have 2 spacesaver wheels/tyres from my breakers, If anyone wants them please let me know, free as I want shot of them. I would have put this in the for sale but cant, I would rather the wheels go to someone here who needs them rather than scrap them. Cheers John

Looking to get some bbs style alloys for the z but not sure what fitment size i should be looking for. Most of the ones on ebay say they'll fit bmw or vw & not sure if these will fit straight onto my car. Also if anyones got any for sale then let me know.

I like splitting opinions with my Z so I'll try it again lol... :shifty: I've always been a fan of screamer pipes but there is no 'off the shelf' set for the Z. I'll be fitting a pair of Greddy turbos soon so going to get some split dump pipes and get the wastegate side adapted into an open pipe... looking forward to trying it out and excited about the noise on full boost... :thumbup: Anyone else done similar or have any opinions on the case? i am trying to change the rear steering bushes and just cannot seem to get them to move i have tried heating them up a little but don't want to go to far as its aluminium i have heard that there is a tool for getting them out but can't seem to find out to much about it has anyone else had dealings with these if so how did you get round it i have tried making my own tool but it wasn't right

i'm very tempted to reskin all the door card not just the centre section so wondering if any1 else has done it and got any pics ... cheers :excl:

I've had a bit of a stuttering problem that goes away if I ease off the throttle and then accelerate again (most of the time), it reminds me of how another car I had dorve when the throttle position sensor was playing up so I'm going to try a quick TPS swap over to see if that remedies it before investigating further. Question I've got is - is it the same TPS for auto and manual, tt and na? Mine is manual TT import. Cheers

quick question, i am looking at gettin a new set of shoes for my zed. i want either 19's or 20's but my zed has been lowered. i know alot of you have large wheels, so the questions are, 1. will they fit without any problem? 2. what offset is the best one to get? any help will be gratefully received. Hi mate's Im pissed and kinda happy at the same time, got my wheels last week delivered from drift works ,called them a bunch of times asking about fitment. they said et 30 was ok for my car but i guess there wrong. i put them on to day with sum budget tyres for the mean while "SUNNY 255/35/18 FRONT AND 265/35/18 BACK" WAS LOOKING COOL! heres a pic! i went round the corner and i hear a grinding noise, im saying wat the **** was that !!! its the wheel grinding on the caliper lol so im like ffs new ****ing wheels lol ("THANK GOD IT WAS IN THE INSIDE") So i go and get 5mm spacers for the front(for an offset of et25 now!) it now looks li…

In the process of installing the BC Coilovers suspension..I been adviced about getting the kit cambers front/rear on the Z; question is; I barely drive the Z that often; I mean weekend drive..some long trip once &while...I mean is it nessesarily recommended to install kit cambers with the BC Coilovers? tires would waste so soon?

Hi all, If I get a carputer installed, what type of connection does the Z32 have, to give out readings and diagnostics? I know how to create the GTR Digi Display using the OBDII connection, but have just realised the 300zx doesnt have OBDII. So twice now after very heavy rain I’ve found a little aquatic gift from the heavens in my drivers foot well… The mat had a good cup full of water on it… don’t even know how much has soaked into the carpet… I’ve checked the targa drain and it’s working fine, I can only assume its getting in though the widow rubber but can’t see any tell tale signs… looks like a hose on the roof job over the weekend.. Anyone else lucky enough to have a mobile foot spa?
