done a few jobs this week,put in a set of kyb adjustable shocks with eiback lowering springs,it made a masive difference to the way car handles and still nice ride on bumpy road.i measured ride height with old suspension then again with new "lower"suspension,turns out car was lower with old shocks and springs,must a bein well fooked! also fixed up exhaust,it was blowing where it connects to turbo elbows,so got a de cat pipe and nissan oem exhaust steel o ring gaskets to cure the problem, sounds great-that bubbling sound gone so v happy!

I bought these off of Slicktop(cheers Davie mate)and I think i got a bargain, All the tyres are just about Brand new, and 350 for a set of O.Z split rims, and decent tyres aint bad

for the new engine im putting in iv invested in some new bits iv got the japspeed lightend crank pulley whats the new belt sizes i need for 3pk????? alt belt p/s belt water pump belt thanks

Just finished polishing the old girl ready for the drive down to japfest,weather looks good should be nice drive,will be parking in the field again but hay you see some really nice cars here:) we will see you guys there or maybe on the way can't wait for great day.we are travelling from north west so with a couple of wee stops should take us 4hours :).

Well I managed to give her a quick wash and polish today. No time to do the interior or anything but such is life. Alas she will be filthy again by the time i get to Castle Combe, but such is life! Anyway, couple of pics:

Have got a smoke problem on idle, when engine is warm.i changed the pcv valves and all the hoses the other week and habe heard it can take 500 miles for them to clear....is this true?.smokes worse on the drivers side, but only on idle, once you drive up the road it clears.smoke is whitey grey in colour and smells oily with a hint of fuel, dont appear to be losing oil or coolant.

Just called Footman James but they have told me they won't even quote a modern car now unless I already have a policy with them. Is that correct?

i got original 99 spec front bumper it`s plastic and not a fibre glass copy. the question is do i need to modify anything or is it direct fit ? should i trial fit it and then paint it ?

Are they the same? Can i use a n/a in my tt??

Hello, I have changed all the plugs on injectors and coils and now i have dilemma! Which coil plug goes on which cylinder? And same for injectors... I have kept wire on more or less same length but .... Also, maybe someone has some king of fool-proof wiring diagram for 300zx?

I have been out of stickers for a few month already and a few members have ask me for them. I am working out a way to post them to members who want the stickers as they are a full A3 sheet, so it isn't something easy to post out. As is almost certainly a tradition for those who have visited Zedworld, I'd like to say thanks to Jeff, Jamie & Lynda (& Cassie) for the world class service I received when I took my zed in recently. I had a nightmare trip on the way to collect my car, getting up at the crack of dawn and catching the wrong train (I ended up in Crewe of all places). When I arrived I was greeted with a friendly welcome and a much needed cup of coffee! Jeff took the time to give me a full walk through the work that had been done, with pictures of all the interesting bits. Jamie even went back under the bonnet to answer a query I had about mapping. Just removed my twin turbos fuel tank and the filler neck just crumbled. Are these still available to buy new or is it a used one from a breakers?

Fitted new turbo`s less than a year ago now and they`ve started smoking.... been reading up on what could be wrong and questioning wether I`m getting too much oil to the turbo`s. It only smokes when it gets warm/hot and can be different from day to day. I put T25/28 on and fed them with braided houses complete with new banjos....now the only thing I can come up with is the size of the hole feeding oil through new banjo is bigger than the old one????? I`ve read quite a few articles and can only put it down to too much oil feed to the turbo......oil pressure is massive on the engine build. Any one had any similar problems???

Can the knock sensor if not working cause the car to not idle????? I'm getting code 34 (now I know how to check the code) Or is this a red herring? If so any guides on replacing the sensor if it is shot. Also anyone got a testing process? I think one of my ECU wires is shot as only one shows a continuity with ground. I was tools the other should show 500ohm to ground. As to sensor tests. Anyone got a guide???

So put the 19s , well happy Just needed a 3mm shim on the front to clear the caliper , it was tight lol !

really , really annoyed, my zeds been with GDA for 2 weeks, was due back tommorow morning after getting its new turbos fitted called them tonight to arrange collect but they have only just started it......:censored: and then they had the nerve to try to sell me a engine loom for it, (baring in mind im very good with electrics and i work for Nissan).. theres a reaon i dont trust garages with my cars...:crying: to cut a long story short im going to get it without any of the work done, so shes going to japfest smokey, and then im taking a week off to pull the engine and do it myself like i always should have done, i cant seem to get the links to work so does …
