What's the size of the recirc pipes, internal diameter, or what size inlet do you need for the BOVs? Don't laugh, but I'm thinking of fitting some, I like the noise as I'm a poser, and also to annoy my mate and his RX7 even more :)

Hi guys, just a little DIY tip here, incase anyone wants to spray niggly parts on their cars..... (**I hope this is in right section, if not feel free to move it :D and delete this comment**) Firstly you need to remove the part your spraying, for this guide, im showing you a piece I took from my old ST500. As you can see in the picture I had pre paint cleaning wipes to wipe the surface removing any contaniments. This is essential, if it is not perfectly clean, dry and grease free, you WILL have bubbling, peeling, flakey paint at the end of the day. Next you need to spray the primer, its best to follow the same direction, back and forth, either up…

Spoke with Leo today and not good news unfortunately, Leo also agreed for me to post the results of our investigation whilst he decides his next move. So we had a zed that appeared to be running only on three cylinders and all on the drivers side bank! a quick check of the cambelt to be sure and then move on, we quickly established cylinder 2 and 4 where not firing due to been flooded and the plugs saturated in fuel. Once these were replaced with a good pair of test plugs and the cylinders blown out with the air line it fired up on 5 cylinders which of course was a bonus but not a final fix. Here is where it goes down hill, number 6 plug was dry so not …

Does anybody happen to know which way through the oil filter the flow direction is? does it go from inside (through the big central hole) to outside(out through the little holes round the edge) or outside to inside?! if you know what I mean! lol I've got an incling but want to be 100% sure without the need for a practical and messy 'pipe removal test' lol Reason incase you're wondering is I'm fitting a sandwich plate for bigger 1/2" oil cooler lines and also plumbing my accusump and one way valve in to prevent it pressurising the oil cooler and keep all that lovely back up oil going straight to the block.

How comes some 300ZX's have different figures on boost gauge? I have seen -7 to +7 as well as -14 to +14 The needle travels the same distance on both and the plus / minus 7/14 figures are located in the same place. are the cars a different spec? -7 to +7 -14 to +14

Im now back to the drawing board in what type of spoiler to fit to the Carbon hatch. Ideally needs to be Carbon as a painted spoiler just wouldnt look right. I bought a Carbon drift style spoiler that i liked the design of..but when it arrived it was damaged and the suppliers dont know when they will stock the spoiler again. Im thinking of this Megan racing spoiler as its a lot more subtle than most of this type but its only 55" in length without getting to my unit and measuring the boot it could fit nicely as i dont want a massive spoiler hanging over the edges of the car or virtually touching the sky. Has any one else got any ideas? Its no doubt going to be …

I have asked this before and got the answer, but I have forgotten and can't find it, but, which section is the shorter section on the SWB? Front half or rear half? I'm kinda desperately looking for a LWB NA Manual prop for my NA rear end conversion, and there is a SWB NA Manual breaker near me, last resort is just using half of that prop with half of mine if it's the front half that is shorter on a SWB, not ideal tho as I already have balancing issues on mine at the mo, might get lucky tho.....

I'm still having air leak running issues with my TT and its begining to get a bit annoying now. :surrender: I've seen other people have removed the EGR/ aiv from their engines but how much more of this mess can i remove and how do i bypass it once its gone?? Heres a diagram i found online i have no idea what this all does as the only vac hose my other car has is from the distributer to the manifold. So i can only presume most of this can be binned. Any help would be gratefuly appreciated i just want to drive it now.. :thumbup1:

Quote: Product Details 300ZX Whiteline Front Swaybar Drop Links. Complete heavy duty adjustable drop links with spherical rod ends. What a pile of shite! They've been fitted just over a week and both sides have started to rust already!! apart from the rust the drivers side is fine however the passenger side is ****ed!!!! now unless Whiteline droplinks fit differently to stock droplinks and require more than 10mm of thread either end then I can't explain why in the space of 15m at a crawling pace, the thread would sheer inside??? incidentally the CZP links on the rear are spot on!!! any ideas? :blin…

OMG, I dont know how to start this thread, Im just smiling ear to ear. I got myself a fantastic Bargain imo. I just bought a totally standard 300ZX Auto Twin Turbo. The vehicle was purchased brand new by Mr Masayuki Iwamoto in Yokkaichi Japan in 1993 (although the vehicle was manfactured in October 1992) Mr Masayuki Iwamoto moved to the UK in 1995 for an indefinate period as part of his work for the Japanese Equilivent of the Ministry of Defense. He has been based at The Royal Navy Air Support Base in Yeovilton since. Unfortunately he has to return to Japan in 2 months time, and has thus sold his home and is currently renting, and has also sold his bel…
