You know when you've been waiting so long for something to arrive and eventually when it does, your plans have changed.... well that's exactly the position I'm in now I bought an uber expensive and wide pair of SSR rims from Japan last year, they matched my previous Enkei rims perfectly. OK I went on my first proper track day at brands the other day I wasn't driving I was being a passenger in my 2 mates evos and I've kinda got the bug. Now I wanna get stuck in but I have a dilemma, do I track prep the zed on the grounds its a great car and has plenty of power or do I buy a vti civic on the grounds that I won't care about spinning/breaking it as it's a whole heap easyer and cheaper to fix? Plus I have uprated parts for the civic coming out of my ears If I were to track the zed I'd build the spare engine I've got in the garage new rods/pistons maybe new valves and springs and some slightly uprated tubs plus the usual rad/intercooler and finaly a m…

Does anyone have or heard abou any chip which runs for 555cc injectors and 18psi of boost ??

had a quote for my new z from adrian flux got £336 pa, then tried footman james and got a quote of 216 :thumbup: footman james want proof of my previous quote from flux and cant retrieve the quote for me ,so got another quote of flux its gone up to £450 so i tried again later and then it went up to £670:angry: what is it with these companies all these quotes are within 2 weeks! HELP.

Hi all, well I'm back from the Falklands with a broken ankle:mad2: So I'm sitting here getting ready for the summer. I have come back to find the car with a flat tyre, flat battery, and the rented garage has been leaking and dusty. That's what you get when the missus says everything is ok ffs! So what I'm looking at is getting a mop etc. the paint is new but want to take the swirls out and minor scratches. Anyone got any web sites or any advice on what to use, G3,G6 etc Cheers:cool3:

I know most will have there's on a classic 2nd car policy but I would like to hear from those that have it as there daily driver with all mods declared. What price are you paying with what mods? Hi Got a transmission leak on my na anybody no anybody good?

As described in my other posts heres a couple of vids of the idling/running on my Zed 1st start up.. Seems to be running rich too but also doesn't seem balanced either and if you try to drive it just holds back badly and wont accelerate. Its as if its running out of fuel.

HI i have just finished my auto to manual conversion ....but am having proplem with idle ,on cold it starts up fine when used then stopped but when i restart the idle is up and down .now im running my auto ecu i did hear that the timing needs adjusting how do i do this ?..as i what to make the most of driving my zed before i take it of the road again after summer to finish her off :taz:

Pretty daft question really, but I only put a new OEM gasket on 6 months ago, and she's only done a few hundred miles since, but I really need to lift the plenum to sort an oil leak, today ideally, but I'll have to put it back on today, I know everyone is going to say you need a new gasket, but do I really? Very simple vacuum system and water bypas done, so no big deal lifting it again to put one on at a later date... Cheers...

Well the cars nearly stripped now and not sure what to do with the shell? Its a 91 SWB in Black was only repainted in 2010 is it worth selling on or just weigh it in? its got no bumpers boot or wings, may even take the doors off depending if theres any interest? but has only ever had rust on the rear drivers sill which i had repaired last year What do you guys think? Craig

Hi Which injectors are best for a 91 auto na please

just fitted twin air filters after having a single one on will the ecu need reseting or will it detect it itself read a lot about disconecting battery for 30 mins is this necessary

Going to be looking to get the zed painted in the near future, few other jobs first though. Question is how much paint etc will i need to do a full hit on the 300? i can get the paint etc from work for much cheapness and thought id be aswell getting it the now so it's just a case of dropping the car off when i find someone to paint it.
