On the way home today I dropped a cylinder. Thankfully it turned out to be a loose injector connector and upon inspection the retaining clip had broken away. Is it possible to replace these connectors, are they easy to replace and where can I buy them from? Cheers, Chris.

Thinking of swapping out the plugs as I’ve no idea how old they are, but I can’t get to #2 or #3 because the previous owner fitted a Central 20 bracing strut which completely obscures them. The strut is bolted directly onto the studs on the front suspension turrets. Maybe a stupid question, but is it safe to undo the stud nuts to remove the strut with the car’s weight on its wheels? Logic says the weight of the car should hold everything where it is, but I’d like a better-informed opinion before I risk collapsing the whole front end! Thanks in advance

Afternoon, Looks like my oil leak is just rocker cover gaskets  Replacing perished pipes while I'm at it - I'm looking for a couple. Can someone point me in the right direction - where's best to get them - is there anywhere in the UK? Any advice on other things while the top's off? Thanks in advance David I need (pics below)... (1) pipe from the brake servo. (2) breather pipe from the rocker cover - at the right rear of the engine

Cos I'm on holiday and can't look, but want to order stuff before I get home lol.... I know the bulb is a H1. But when I look at a bulb guide, the picture shows a connector thingy. I don't recall that and there isn't one on the z when it's come back. Just a connector like in the second photo. Am I missing something here?

Can anyone help, I need some injector plugs ASAP. My car is booked to go on display at a local show and developed a misfire. I have got it in at the garage who has found the plastic injector plugs have gone all green and I need to get some more so I can get the car back going. Ordered at the Z Centre but they have run out of stock. Thanks Scott

I usually take the Z to the continent a couple of times a year, however I haven't done what I call a 'long' road trip since AndrewG and I went down to Monaco a few years ago; our route was via 'Route Napoleon' and back through Italy over the Great St Bernard Pass, through Switzerland and back home. Both Joel and Andrew are out of action this year due to other commitments, however I'm desperate to take my Z on a long jaunt. Next year will be a much bigger one with Andrew and hopefully Joel, however I've almost finished booking up the trip for this September. Sadly, the section through Route Napoleon was a washout in 2017, so didn't see any of the views I'd have h…

I have a bit of renewed interest in my Z32, but before I start investigating my mild overheat I want to replace every coolant hose in and around the engine because I know for a fact I have about 3 leaks in mysterious places. So does anyone sell an uprated silicone kit?

Looking at buying a brand new original TT front bumper as I feel the fitment on mine could be a little better. UK source tells me at 6202240P90 is around £420, so not too bad considering in the US it's substantially more + shipping and tax. My question is this, 6202240P90 is the part number for UK/Euro cars. There is a superseded part number also which is 6202240P93. I assume a new UK bumper would come with pre-drilled holes for head light washers however is the superseded part number likely to be a stock non-prepared front bumper? Would anyone happen to know the part number for the stock TT JDM early style bumper?

Hello Dear All, Hope you are all well and about to have a lovely bank holiday weekend, I’m after a bit of general advice in regards to my 300zx I recently took her to R-Tec Auto Design and they managed to swap the tyres the alloys and tint the windows. There was a rear defuser also installed but this has now been removed buy mother nature and it languishes some ware on the A1 M ? Now the main thing is I also wanted R-Tec to wrap my car but having initially agreed and quoted me a reasonable price the gentleman who was going to carry out the work refused to do so on the grounds that the car has a coarse surface below a certain line and in his opinion the…

Hi all, my car was originally a series 1 NA LWB and was converted to a TT years ago. Since then I have also fitted a TT auto box and had to swap the TT cog on the speed sensor to an NA one as the rear diff is an NA one. The speed sensor was rotated 180 deg and a clamp made to hold it in place. Now the speedo has stopped working. I have resoldered all the connections on the speedo in the cluster, cleaned cluster connections and for one trip it worked..... Next day nothing again.... I can't get to the speed sensor connector to check for corrosion as it appears to be on top of the auto box and unreachable.... The car is on its wheels and sitting on block…
