Hi, Does anyone know the size of o ring on the drain plug on radiator? Mine started leaking slightly. Or is it sealed there any other way?

Hi, anyone happen to know the clearance between the top of the engine and the bonnet? (sound shielding removed if necessary). Also between the strut tops and the bonnet? Looking at putting vents in the bonnet just behind the strut tops and hoping to have 3 - 4 cm depth into the bonnet available. Cheers

Hi All I am looking for an injector rail for my 1990 300ZX NA. Managed to break the plastic tip off one of the injectors when stripping down and this is the only thing stopping me from rebuilding my engine. If anyone knows of where I can get hold of one, I would really appreciate it. Not sure if it is a 270cc or a 370cc rail, it's a standard 1990 import. cheers in advance best wishes Trev

hi guys been suffering with water ingress in the tailgate, and it seems to hang in there until i open it, then it drains out, are there any drains in the tailgate that maybe blocked that i can check? i can't see anything obvious on there.

been struggling to find a home for it can i hell remember were it was from and after searching this afternnoon its defeated me, some1 put me out of my misery :stupid:

Hi Does anybody have any info or a website link to some detail info of the model history of the 300zx Z32. I want to know what's changed between 1990 model all the way up to 2000 last production year. I've tried doing a google search but not really getting the results I want. If I leave mine sitting for say 2 months then I have to blip the throttle to (presumably) get some fuel in for it to start when cranking. Takes it 3-4 seconds of spluttering then it runs like a dream. Not really a big deal but I kinda thought that's what priming the fuel pump was for :blink: Is this normal?

I've just ordered a full manual conversion for my Z! Was looking at a manual gearbox & told him I wanted to do a conversion & they are supplying all parts! Foreign Car Spares Ltd.

found these under my parts box and i nearly cried , im guessing the orange 1 is a for an engine plug sensor and the black 1 no idea, is there a seal between the driveshaft and gearbox any help much appreciated, before i start pulling the car apart again .... :censored:

Hi, The Tie Rod or Track Rod as I know them as for my 300 has got a bit of play in it so I bought a replacement off of Ebay. Took the old one off yesterday to change and found the one I had bought was around 25mm too long which has confused me a bit as I would have expected all 300's to use the same size. Mine is a 1991 non turbo. Is anyone able to tell me where I might get the correct one from? Many Thanks

What is the electrical component under the passenger wing. the rectangle shaped block. Also after the pin out for the grey plug on the AT trans connector As got manual fitted and has different Plug to the Manual loom. going to use the manual alternator loom as better condition. Thanks

Hey guys,i have a quick question,i have changed the instrument cluster on my car,but the second hand one i got has 90,000km on the milage counter,but the one that came with the car has 76,000km,Is it possible to change the milage counter from one to the other,just want to keep the original milage?Thanks all

I ordered a TurboNoz Chip on 1st May and paid for next day shipping but it is yet to arrive and they are not responding to emails so I am thinking about getting one from Speciality Z. Only issue I have is they are also not responding to my emails asking whether they would also supply the socket. I know they offer socketing as a service but obviously I need the actual socket to be sent over. My two questions are... Does anyone know how long Turbonoz chips take to arrive and also does anyone know if Speciality Z send chips with a socket? Thanks

Hi I just thought hat I would send this message to wish you all well on the forum as I wont be visiting so much in the future. I relatively recently re-subscribed as I was looking to get back into a Z. After being scared by a super powered nitrous, eth, steriod boosted Z and failing to find the right car for me I have finally succumb to the lure of a less special but more practical motor. I loved the time I owned a Z and there are so many knowledgeable people on here, most of whom I have never met in person but would like to thank. Just on sorting out the black car and have a couple of vac piping questions surrounding the boost controller and external wastewates. Question 1 Should the vac/pressure from the suction pipes be taken from both sides and then T'd into the boost controller solenoid or can I just take it from 1 side pipe? Question 2 Same question really but for the side ports of the external wastewates. For info, the boost controller is a greedy profec b spec 2. The turbo system is greedy td05 16g with external wastewates. The intercooler pipework is 2.5", so not standard. The turbo to intercooler pipes only seem to have 1 little outlet on each side. This …

Hi all, I’ve got a UK-spec front plate on my JDM car, but it doesn’t fit flush because of the narrow JDM bracket. I’d like to keep the UK plate shape, but before I start searching for a UK plate holder/bracket, does anyone know whether it will fit flush on a JDM bumper? They look similar to me, but thought I’d check! Thanks

Hi All Hoping you can give me some advice as the 300 seems to have developed a vibration which is noticeable at 70mph, if I go over this it gets considerably worse. It starts about 60mph, so I did the usual of get wheels balanced and that hasn't solved it so I'm thinking maybe drive shaft or prop? I had a single piece prop so I can rule out that its the joint in the prop. Anyone able to shed some light? If it is drive shafts anyone know where to get these nowadays? Thanks Luke

Hi Gents I know this has been covered before, but rather than wade through all the previous post thought I would ask the wealth of knowledge here. I am looking at changing my N/A auto to a manual and I have been able to source a TT manual box with all the bits required box pedal slave and master cylinder's pressure plate and clutch fork etc and all the other various bits I will need, TBH not sure how much more I will need. first question is What else should I be getting for this conversion? so I can confirm before I pick up the kit. what parts should I buy new or replace? will the TT box fit with out alterations on to the N/A engine? Hi everyone, I've been looking for a aftermarket seat rail for my Zed so I could install my bride seat. With no luck I've finally decided to have a go a making my own rail up. So what I did was unbolted the original electric rail for the standard seat retaining all the motor and electrics and I brought a pair of aftermarket side mount brackets. So I lined up the new side mounts to the original rail, the rear bolts lined up perfectly and I just needed to make the front holes a little bigger and cut off and remount the seat belt buckle so the bolt holes all lined up perfectly. so I loosely fitted the rails together then bolted the side mounts to the se…
