Hi Guys, I have just purchased the Super ATI Race Damper Crank Pulley. Mine is a UK Twin Turbo and I am trying to source new belts for it. The PAS are the same as standard but states it needs a 4pk975 for AC and 4pk1015 for ALT/WP. As mine is a UK it has slightly different belts to the USA ones, longer I believe. Does anyone know the correct size belts for a UK Twin Turbo with a Super ATI Race Crank Pulley ? I thought 4PK925 is the same across the board for PAS, 4pk965 was UK AC and 4pk1038 was the ALT/WP, so what do I need for mine ? Thanks, Olly.

Anyone ever had this or know what the problem is likely to be. The blur car has been sat in place for a while. Anyway, started it up and the wipers seem to be stuck on constantly. Switch does speed them up etc, just doesn't seem to stop them. MOT is next week so I need to sort them quickly if possible

A 1989 300zx with a modern twist. It looks ok and maybe the younger generation prefer it. But in my opinion the 89 spec is still the best design when it comes to looks.

I have a roof leak on both sides of my Z at the moment. It used to leak from the window at the main join between the Targa and the body but this seems to be fixed after replacing the Targa rubbers, adjusting them as close to the body as possible and screwing them down there and moulding some black silicone to the body rubber and layering some cling film over it to set against the targa (there was some deformation on the body rubber but I do not fancy spending £300+ for each side of the body rubbers!) It now looks almost as though it is leaking from within the Targa trims and dripping out of the plastic but I pulled one of the tops out last night and removed the trim …

Hi Guys I'm having an indecisive moment so need some help. I have some BMW 850 Brembo Calipers (40 and 44mm Pistons) which are in need of a refurb and will cost me about £350 all in as I already have the adaptors, discs and pads. Disc size increases to 345mm which fits behind my current wheels fine. Do I get these refurbed or do I just upgrade to better discs and pads on the standard calipers? Car is used for a bit of country road blasting every now and again so £1000+ kits are a total waste of money. Just want something to give a bit more confidence in the brakes than what is currently on as its by no means confidence inspiring haha Thanks for input Luke

It was a recent consensus that prices for these cars were climbing. However keeping an eye on these things there seems to be stuff about cheaper than what was. For example on eBay there’s more than one TT for about 3k, for a running car with an MOT. On Social Media both Mike Feeney from MJP and Simon from Hide and Seat are selling great cars for not a lot, think Simons car is up for £5k! On here there’s a decent UK spec unsold for £4.5k. Interesting to note the amount of cars not for sale via the club... different topic. Maybe the quoted values were a tad optimistic?

I bought 2 recon 40p heads which have Tomei valve springs fitted. I dismantled because I'm getting work done on them, but noticed some of the springs are tipped a different colour. I have 21 that are tipped blue, 2 are tipped red and 1 is red and blue! They look identical in dimension and pitch, but should I be sceptical? I am unable to get knowledge from previous owner...Please advise, thanks.

Hi my high pressure power steering hose from the pump to the steering rack was leaking badly. I had a spare in the garden, looked exactly the same but upon fitting the hose the neck and end are too short. Question, what are my options and how many different pumps or pipes are there, do they all have the same mounting bracket. The hose has been fitted and engine is back in the car. Doner pipe Old pipe before it was changed

I am about to swap out the engine, gearbox and diff oils on my Z and wondered what people would recommend? Currently I am planning on Redline MT-85 for the gearbox, Redline 75W90 for the diff and I have no idea on the engine oil.

So I have decided to post up here my progress (or lack of!) of a project I bought two moths ago. Its a 1991 black TT auto that had sat around for a very long time. The plan is to get it working, drive it around to trouble shoot any problems, then swap the engine into my smoking red car, then swap the NA from my old black car into the new black car, then fix the old red engine and put it in the old black car! However I am having some trouble; NERD wont rev. I have re attached everything that I could see (wires, tubes, pipes, etc), the car started but was running very rough and would stall its self, when I checked the ECU codes it had only one: Detonation. So i looked …

Noticed a bit of gaffer tape in the passenger footwell, had a look under the trim to find (along with more gaffer (now removed) securing the replacement speaker wire): Relay gaffer taped to back of trim. What is it and where should it be secured? The arrowed air vent wobbled. In part because the screw (circled) wasn't tight. Tightened it. But the other end of the vent is still wobbly. I compared with the one in driver footwell which is nice and solid. I can't feel anywhere another screw or fixing should be. My next guess is to take the thing out entirely and have a closer look - what should I be looking for? Is that the only screw securing it or is there/s…

Good morning all. Preparing for new stereo install and think the old speakers (no idea what - they're almost certainly non OEM given the wiring bodge I've seen behind the console) are in a horrid state. Sound awful when driven a teeny bit loud. According to microfiche 284 the non-Bose units are 6.5". On a bit of searching here (and AndrewG's posts and FunkySi's), 6.5" speakers would need a spacer. Is that all 6.5"s or just some? I'm trying to get stuff in advance without having to take the door cards off to find out because I'd have to do it again later when the stuff arrives! (You call it lazy. I call it being prepared :D ) Is this video the right method? I kn…
