Hello everyone, Help... I am in trouble following the purchase of a brand new Brake Master Cylinder for by USA 1989 NA Z32 : the middle plug was not supplied with the BMC, and my old plug (from my OEM BMC) cannot be fitted inside as the geometry of the cone differs... Detail below : 1st photo : The 2 BMC - LEFT : my old OEM BMC + its middle plug (conical "convex" shape) - RIGHT : The new Nabco I just bought, delivered without center plug... 2nd photo : detail of the new Nabco I just bought : we can see that the hole has its conical shape inverted, making the fitting of the old OEM plug impossible. In conclusion, I need another "concave…

Hi all I’ve recently bought some 18” wheels for the zed that I’m not fitting until I purchase a set of decent coilovers (at least that’s current thinking). However, I had a set of Meister R coilovers on my last zed and being honest, I prefer the ride on oem suspension. So I wondered, does anyone have any photos of their cars with 18” wheels and standard suspension? ? Would like to see if it looks a little weird (how I think it might look) or if it’s passable ? cheers! (Random pic of my car... for no reason at all ?)

Hi, I have a 1993 TT Auto 2+2 thats been converted to manual. No problems there. What I have issue with is I've had the car for 12 years and to date never really bothered with needing the air con cooling function. Due to health reasons I now need it working. I've been told that the system needs parts replacing so that it can work with the latest stuff they use to regas them. Has anyone had experience of going through this process and knows what needs changing and some idea of the cost to get it done please? Many thanks, Rex

I’ve been circling the 300zx for a while and after reading all the info the forum has about shoehorning big people into little cars it looks like it should be fine but I’ve just got to see what is comfortable for me. I was wondering if anyone in the Newbury, Reading, Basingstoke and even up to Wantage area would be up for a test fitting before I commit to traveling for some viewings. Mainly want to check legroom, pedal spacing and the not clipping the steering column with my toes. Would really appreciate it, Cheers

I’ve a few bits and bobs getting powder coated and when I dropped them off the owner said that the OEM look would probably be semi gloss. Does this sound right to you guys or should it be full gloss? Cheers, Chris.

I collected my Zed from Jimmer's yesterday - after dropping it off 2 weeks ago for a few bits..... Including: Full cambelt, all pulleys and tensioners, water pump, thermostat - basically the whole 120k "works" Oil and filter change Replace autobox fluid Fitting my new (non-scratched) driver's side window Sorting ABS light fault (replacing NSR sensor) AC regas MOT - for which I needed both HICAS joints and the NSF balljoint replaced On top of that, Jimmer replaced 3 crank/cam oil seals and bled the ABS pump. Oh, and it was lovely and clean when I got there.... I had a great drive home; the Zed was running so well; sli…

Hi all, i have attached the power supply routing diagram to my thread. Could anyone I.D the symbols i have highlighted in red. I have discovered i have no power to the fuses under the bonnet at the passenger side. Got no headlights, main beam and horn. Looking at the diagram i see that the power comes from the fusable link. Im checking for power there today. From the link it goes back to the battery via the symbols i don't know. Also could you spread some light on where the fuse is that I've circled in the headlamp diagram. I have checked all footwell fuses twice and they are all ok. Does all the headlight wiring come across in the main loom by the radiator …

I started cleaning my headlights today and want to be as thorough as possible. I think I can get a much better finish if I could separate the glass from the housing. Has anyone done this and if so what did you use as a gasket when refitting the glass as I can’t find new gaskets? Chris.

So seemingly out of the blue both sides of my zed seem to be letting water in from the roof which is dripping directly onto both from seats. I discovered this over the weekend after deciding to go for a nice drive out with the Mrs, everything was going swimmingly up until I departed the car to get a Subyway lunch and noticed my arse was sodding wet. It's not a fun experience lining up for a couple of footlongs with noticeable wet stains on the back of your keks. After returning home and inspecting my girlfriends bum I can confirm it's both sides leaking. Anyway - this is what it looks like from the inside (the car that is) https://imgur.com/a/FUhSlIC …

Another great show over and done with for this year. Many thanks to the volunteer exhibitors for their time and toil, meeting and greeting, talking about the club and the cars to everyone who showed an interest. A very special thanks to Ian and his crew, who yet again made our stand the most impressive among our peers and neighbours, and the easiest stand to identify in Hall 8 ?, even if there was a tense nervous moment on setup day while waiting for the structural engineer to visit and give us the OK. The show organiser for clubs even commented on how fantastic our stand looked when she visited. For those members who managed to visit over the weekend,…

Hi all, I'm still in the process of chasing a problem on my headlights. When following the diagrams how true do you find the colouring for the wires. No matter what I'm doing there are always wires not corresponding to electrical diagrams. I've the copies of diagrams from online manuals but are there any that are coloured or have a bit more clarity. Cheers
