Noticed today that one of my number plate lights is dangling down a bit, upon closer inspection the bracket that should hold it in place has all bit disintegrated on the left hand side and I cant imagine the right side isn't fairing much better. Does anyone know the part number for these for a UL Spec rear bumper? I've tried searching multiple sites including JP-carparts but they only list the Jap spec or US spec parts. Cheers Andy

Hi Guys, I have searched everywhere but can't seem to find anywhere to get the high pressure air con line that runs from the firewall to the recevier drier, the american ones (concept Z etc) are for left hand drive and are different (unless im mistaken ?), so does anyone know where I can get one for sensible money ? Thanks, Olly.

Took some time out last week from work and managed to take my 300 to Bristol to see Jimmer of PowerZed The plan was to try and get a bit more horse power out of the old lady as she was mostly stock when it came to the internals, Jimmer fitted the Greddy EBC and removed the ECU and put in a new one with a map for stage 1, the car now feels a lot more responsive and boosts up to 13.3 psi the horsepower gains where tangible with around 350-380bhp expected (will dyno her at some point in the future to find out). Next on the list of modifications will be a sports clutch and flywheel most probably towards the end of the year as well as brake pads, I must say…

I was looking for some info and fell across the following which I thought I would post here. I know others have some references - I think it was something posted by AndrewG I was trying to find! - so if you want to add here, maybe this would be worth as a sticky. JDM Chassis No list taken from a Nissan FAST book 11/2000 https://z32enjoytheride.files.wordpress.com/2015/09/z32-jdm-production-numbers.pdf found on this site via TwinTurbo.net (from this I found my car was the last one made in April 1999 - probably on 30 Apr so that's now it's official birthday :) ) Also via TwinTurbo.net, VIN tables, option & model codes for USA, Canada, Europe, UK and Australia htt…

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

many thanks to Richard who sent me over his old fpr and fd after replacing them, they have been fitted to the purple zed and it fires up, stops and restarts as it should. so now i just have a bunch of other little faults to fix, not least of which is to replace the smokey nearside turbo.

Well looks like I have fallen into the trap of not knowing what I was looking for, I have been working on cars for many years, but have never had to replace cam or crank seals before, I did read up about it but did not really understand about the lip on the crank, hence inside of seal pushed backwards, I do have another it is OEM as well, I suppose I can’t fix this one and should start again with the new one, is this correct?.

HI Guys, I have a1990 Twin Turbo and for the last few weeks, occasionaly when you try to start it, it makes this horrible screeching noise, just like if the engine was already running and you turn the key again (don't ask how I know this https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/images/icons/icon7.png) I recently had a new light weight flywheel fitted and all was well for a few weeks and then this started happening. It didn't do it all the time, just occasionally. I fitted a new battery and it still did it, so I have now replaced the starter motor and it is still doing it. Any suggestions, as I am at a loss ?

Hi guys - hope everyone is well. I have (finally) got the Z back after it having been with the mechanic for more than six months, largely for a braking system overhaul (master cylinder and discs) as well as a few other bits and pieces, but nothing engine related. Engine was good as gold. It arrived back with a cracked spoiler, 141 extra miles on the clock since the MOT on June 11th, a flat battery, a door panel hanging off where he'd fitted (badly) a Halfords fog light, oil cap tightened so far we had to undo it with mole grips, and absolutely no fuel whatsoever, which was just a little more than disappointing :( Furthermore, he just dumped the car outside my gate w…

Approval required by mods. A couple of years ago I commissioned a silicone hose manufacturer to reproduce the engine bay hoses since they were starting to perish and UK stock was dwindling and non existent for quality replacements. I provided the company with a full set of OEM hoses and in return I had a set given to me for free. The company now has the tooling made to reproduce these hoses and list them on their website which is what I have on my zed on show today at the AGM. As pointed out to me today others are probably unaware of the availability in the UK and if mods are happy that it doesn’t compete with other traders then I shall share the details and y…
