Prices will be staying the same as last year: https://www.facebook.com/groups/tenofthebest/10151439926648833/?ref=notif¬if_t=group_activity Dave Naxton is offering a special group purchase price, and has this to say: I believe Bobgenie is looking to compete again. I doubt very much my Zed will be as quick over the 1/4 as my MR2, but it's a highly-strung beast so it may pop at an inopportune moment. I didn't enter last year as part of a club (I was running the only Pulsar there!), and I haven't heard anything about an IMOC presence there this year, so I'll be more than glad to help with any organising if required :) For those that…

Comedy from 2005 called Waiting. Can't find a clip of it but if anyone can, or has it, there appears to be a modded zed in the background of the car park at around 7minutes 30. Just started watching it and spotted it, thought I'd share that.

Removed the fuel pump today to insert fuel foam to try and baffle the fuel a bit. I noticed in the tank is a square shaped kindof baffle with a hole in the rear at the bottom of it and a slight cut off at the top of the front. So the baffle fills up under breaking and empties during hard acceleration. Is this ideal? The baffle is made of plastic so I cut a small section out at the front to allow fuel to fill during acceleration. Maybe i should have made some cut outs on the sides aswell to prevent starvation during Cornering?!?

Changing from having a touchscreen in the radio bezel, and going back to the standard twin din oem bezel. Problem i've just remembered is that I had to hack away parts of the dash in order to allow the touchscreen to fit in correctly with it attached to the rear of the modified radio bezel. From what I remember there are several metal brackets & plates that bolt in there allowing a din cage to be clipped in for the stereo unit. I should have these brackets somewhere :( Can anyone photo me up so I can see whats missing and where it goes? Just hoping i didn't hack away parts of the dash where the metal brackets fix to... thx jay

Hi guys, Primered engine bay yesterday, and was happy till I got home from work, Seem to have a reaction problem, I used dinitrol stonechip that is overpaintable on the chassis rails either side of engine bay at the bottom and the area where battery tray is plus the opposite side, thought it may be a bit harder wearing... Stonechip was dried for maybe couple weeks before it got painted over, came home had a bubble so picked it and it pulls of in lumps has u can see in one of the pics, the stonechip is soft and sticky now so primer has reacted somehow, The other pic is where I have pushed my finger nail in, all the rest of bay is rock hard and won't sc…

Is it just mine or are all the lights that Nissan fitted on the 300ZX crap? Anyway, sick of not being able to see at night when reversing I decided to do something about it today First of all I used four x 3 Watt white LEDs and put two each side. I used some resistors I had lying around (rather than buying some wirewound ones) I used 22 ohm resistors, six in parallel then another six in parallel to give a total resistance of about 8 ohms. They dissipate quite a bit of heat! I would suggest if anyone wants to build a similar circuit you just by a couple of power resistors instead The pics tell the story well.... so here goes. The little bits of wire stick…

some silly questsions  I've got the stock replacement KYBs on the car with standard shock but I've no idea how the damper setting works (they were on the car when I picked it up) 1. I take it the higher the number selected, the harder the ride? 2. How do you adjust the front setting properly. Do you turn the pot on top of the turret by pushing the pot downwards? or just turn it without pressing it down (not sure) thx

Beside the very intersting thread discussing (finally!) about what are the real advantages of a good engine mapping, I would like to show you my small part of the Emerald learning on the subject... Maybe in my presentation http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?166760-A-Z32-driven-to-France-for-a-new-or-continued-life-into-a-nice-home! you have pointed that my Emerald experience started two years ago with the 280ZX IMSA Supercharged. The car was in parts with the supercharger, Sprintex 30 years old, not even assembled on the engine. The existing Emerald management on there was DOS based, and turned rapidly to a piece of museum history. Emerald proposed an e…
