I've never really thought about it before but the SWB driver position seems a lot tighter than my LWB ever was. I'm thinking maybe that the lack of rear footwell may play a part here. Even with stock seats removed and smaller Sparco's fitted in their place it just feels more cramped Has anybody else noticed this?

On my process on re-spraying the Z again with same color green cobalt; I was thinking on spraying the brake calipers on orange color like the ones on some Lambos aventador; but I am getting different opinions on this, some folks recommend to not spray on orange since this color is tooo much for a silver wheels; other folks state that they would look cool and fresh on them..some other say that considering the Z is green cobalt best choice would be paint them black; so I am getting confused now  need some opinions here guys...based on the fact that wheels are hyper silver and Z is green cobalt...wich colour for brake caliper would suite more according to you guys? …

Got a strange one on my drivers side window. It goes down as expected but is really slow and weak going back up. It's so weak that it can't close properly on the rubber and I have to open the door to get it to go the full travel.. It feels as though the motor isn't getting enough power. I'm not sure what's causing this as it's fine powering down. Any ideas?

Hi guys the zed will be going away in the new year for the finishing touches like sills and targa drains sorted also having bodykit fitted and a respray.....my question is this....... This is going to be the only time I'll be able to afford a respray so want it right, I really like my car in silver but think the actual colour looks dated, just wondering if anyone has any ideas how I can make it stunning, I don't want pearl or flip or any of that crap, and just having a basic respray not having the car stripped, was toying with the idea of a silver satin or matt finish rather than gloss?? The car is only going to be used very rarely and always dry stored....any ideas or …

For those scratching there head looking for a place to put the sender, this might interest you On after market Koyo style rads there is a bleed bolt which is 12mm x 1.25P and depending on your gauge the sender is 10mm x 1.00P for the celcius or 1/8 NPT for the Fahrenheit... I have a lathe so i drilled the 12mm bolt down the middle and tapped a 10mm thread in the centre to take the sender, then run the tool across the head to reduce its height...After this i turned the bolt down to reduce its lenght so that the tip of the sender was below the bottom of reducer. PTF tape around both the sender and reducer and screwed them into the rad and checked for leaks..All good and no…

Hey guys As im currently pretty crippled following a recent knee surgery ive decided to take the time to sort the out the little things that bug me on the zed. First and foremost is the position of the pedals, especially the brake pedal As you can see the brake pedal is right over towards the accelerator pedal, and with the combination of my size 12 feet, it makes any sort of heel and toe impossible. Ive had the car for 5 years now and im kinda used to it, but the misses really struggles with it. Ive had a look underneath the dash at the top of where the pedal mounts to the servo and I cannot see any obvious adjustment to move it back over. The p…

I know its been covered before but after today its worth a reminder...Cleaning out my targa seals and then making sure the drain holes were clear with compressed air (20 psi max) ide done 3 then over to the nearside front and heard a hiss in the footwell:huh:...yep the bloody drain pipe that goes down inside the pillar cover had come off the exit pipe behind the wing. Its a pig of a job to re-connect from the footwell so off comes the wing and i run a new continuous pipe with no joins upto the drain hole union and job done. Although my carpets were dry as the car has been under cover for nearly 2 years its a certainty that iff i had,nt found this then when the car hits th…

bit of a bad day today, got my new daily drive NA zed into the workshop to get the new sump fitted, and its rotten, spent the last week drying it out and fixing the targa leak, the dodgy wiring, and getting new tyres, no idea what its going to cost. its going to need an the entire N/S sill redone, and there's a strange rust hole in the front wheel well and the OS rear section of the sill is 90% pug... its still on the ramp at work so the bodyshop guys are coming to look at it, need them to repair a couple of panels too as i want to restore this one, (black TT is the toy and can be covered in glitter lol), only driven it from one car park to the other on …
