Anyone gave any experience with fuel rank baffle sponge? I get fuel starvation round hard lefts on the track. Wondering if I can squeeze in some baffle sponge around the fuel pump to stop this??? Sounds better than going al out on a new baffled fuel tank.

Has anyone cut there rear arches to give more wheel/tyre clearance?. Ive got a set of flared/wide arches that i bought off baz and am gonna attempt to fit them at the weekend. My query is tho, just how much can be cut out? And how many panel layers is there to weld back up together again? My arches are already rolled But my wheels catch on the top and rear(on bumper) when going over bumps. So ive done a trial fitting off a arch Which i will be blending into the bodywork. Anyone else done this kind of mod?

Hi guys I been welding a bit in the engine bay due to rust in drivers side seam in engine bay posted up a while back ended up with a huge hole lol, Problem I now have is all the seams on drivers side are fully welded and smoothed out and look nice, But the other side the Seams are just spot welded, and don't really want to weld them up cause just stone chipped all the arch and underneath and the heat is gonna peel it off and will have to do it all again. I took the standard bead of seam sealer off on passanger side and was gonna do both sides with new seam sealer even though on drivers side didn't have a seam it was just to look the Same, But that seems eas…

Interior light problem on Artztogo 300zx thought it was Door Switches .. but been changed and still the same Symptoms is all works fine lights on off with door open/shut .. but leave it for 10>20mins and the lights come on by them self ? can any one shed any light on to this .. lol

right i have my suspicions about the accuracy of the boost controller. i check by using a mechanical boost gauge,stock boost gauge and the controller itself. under boost the boost controller max's out at 5.6 psi the stock gauge goes up to where 9 psi should be...... this is really starting to piss me off as i dont know what to believe!

I know we get another insurance thread every other week but..... I have just been turned down by both Swinton and Footman James because of the mods on my zed. I only have basic stuff air filter, wheels, exhaust, coilovers , strut braces and a bit of a body kit. I know there are a good few of you who are covered by Footman and have a lot more mods and much bigger power Has anyone else been having a problem or am I just unlucky?

Zed has been sitting in garage since October so yesterday went to start it but battery was flat. So it was put on the charger last night and this morning the battery was fully charged but the immobilizer light was showing red instead of flashing red so the immobilizer is stopping the zed from being started. It is a Meta cat 1 system and it looks like it needs reset. Does anyone know how this is done? I. am at work and will do a search when I get home but any help here would save me time.

Instead of having separate sidelights and amber signal in the front crystal indicator lens chambers, I now have just the one 57 SMD switchback chip bulb, normal amber indication when sidelights are off during daylight but with the sidelights switched on and you indicate they alternate between very bright white and amber, turn the indicator off and the sidelights are just that and stay lit of course on that one notch on the pod dial. This gave me the smaller lens chamber free so I have re-introduced this as the JDM 'curb/kerb light', only really because I could basically as it's not bright enough to actually do the job !! I thought one of my Headlights was flickering the other day but put it down to the battery perhaps dying, it worked the next day briefly but then went completely dead. On testing and swapping fuses, bulbs, ballasts about I concluded 100% that it was the ballast to blame :thumbdown:. My kit is nearly 3 years old, ballasts are the old chunky ones, 6000k and the 55w type, been admirable for this period for a cheap far east kit. I replaced just the ballast for a brand new slim one, again from a £20.00 kit, like for like at 55w and the bulbs have not been changed and are both from the same kit bought 3 years ago.
