Would like to organise a rolling road day in or around the Bristol area, anybody recomend a garage who would have the facilities to offer a rolling road to cater for cars running 500-600 bhp! Dave

:sad: Its goodbye to my Z today had to sell it as the insurance is to high in London. And now not working don't help, Have to say a big thanks to all you guys who have been a great help over the last years . I have had a great time driving a Z , have lost money on it But needs must. :sad:

I bought rear perspex stip with no brake light ... but why nissan would make it the same like with brake light ant paint the brake light in black and sell it for half the price ? :)

Got Zebedee back today with a nice new mot and his niggles sorted. He's now making all the right noises instead of the bangs and squeaks he arrived with! Thanks for the coffee. Mind you, some idiot van driver nearly wiped out his front end 100 yards down the road and then I had to tippy toe through the snow. Now safely on the drive :biggrin:

Here's a recording of my ABS actuator When the engine is ticking over and the brake pedal is pumped it makes this weird squeaking noise and the pedal is really soft, slow to return to its original position and only after 3 pumps or so does the pedal start to feel even somewhere near normal.....then after a few seconds it's soft again however when the engine is switched off (last half of the video clip) the squeak has gone and the pedal seems a tad more solid This is a '95 TT (SWB) manual and so does not have a bleed valve on the actuator so it would appear that the actuator cannot be bled.

Arrived in the post this morning mate, just one more thing that shows the calibre of mods and members on here, cars doing great, finishing touch now can be added! Thanks mate rep to you!:winkiss:

I use my 300zx as a trackday only car. Was wondering would it be a good idea 2 delete the abs and is it just a matter of taken out a fuse

Wiring and connection issues are a well known problem that at some time will afflict all zeds in some way. The engine wiring loom has lots of low voltage signal cables that are protected from interference by the use of shielding, this is a good idea when new but can become problematic especially on looms that have been moved many times. So a case in point, the pictures below show the loom section which serves the drivers side O2 sensor connector, the larger loom splits off and leaves the O2 sensor cable ( 3 core) on its own, however over the years the cable becomes less flexible and the point where the loom splits up to the different sensors a degree of damagin…

For a while now my z has had an issue with running when cold. It was partly solved when I had the aav replaced, but not completely. The garage that did the work said that problem may be down to the ecu? I did borrow a ecu and try to see if it made a difference but it didn't. I'm starting to think that the garage didn't realize the zed had a separate ecu for the fuel pump and was wondering if this may actually be the issue. Before the aav was replaced the revs dropped right down from start up. Now it last for about 30 seconds until the revs drop. Once the engine is warm, it runs fine. Also, I've notice that the fuel pump is humming louder when the revs are…

Ok my zeds heating has completely stopped working it doesn't blow any air out at all I have checked all the fuses and all is fine and there is no leak from the matrix as far as I can tell by feeling around to see if the carpet is wet does anyone have any ideas it's fooking freezing

Hi guys what's the power switch for on the auto? If you flick it one way a little 'power' light comes on on the dash and flick it the other way and a 'hold' light comes on....what is it and what's it do??

I'm looking to do some research into the spark plugs that people use in their TT Zeds. Is my sig picture too big?? I have just changed it again, I did one last week and it changed size over night from normal to very small? Just done another and it looks too big on my pc but normal on my laptop? strange :)

S2 Cas Unit .. How to Disassemble How to ? i have taken 3 screws from main casing that alowed me to open it then another 3 thats holding the sensor/disc unit but it will not come away from the front housing i can see another 2 screws on the front but the heads are behind the sensor unit i need to take this apart for 2 reasons one i need to change the disc and all so Polish/chrome up the casing i can see a Drive Pin on the shaft drive spline but looks like its Peened off so will not push out

Just done the autobox diagnostics and fault no.2 came up speed sensor .Can i clear this code in anyway and recheck?is there a short list of factors that can cause this fault?(its a 91 import TT)i'm guessing this fault could put me in safety mode to?

Hi all, does anyone have or know where I can get the user manual for the profec B? I have one in my new zed, its all plumbed in and working but I don't have the faintest idea what its set at or how to use it?? Cheers

Hi all finally completed the battery relocation today using 2 resettable breakers instead of fuses for convenience plus deleting the now not needed fuel ecu and running an in line fuse and relay instead. We left the battery cables with some extra length incase I need to fit an normal battery at anytime as a back up.
