Hi Guys I got my new steering wheel fitted and reverse indiglow dials, plus finally fitted my white LED illuminated pods that I converted months ago Used the tutorial in the FAQ here - by the way my illumination was also reverse polarity to that shown in the example pics on the FAQ I like the reverse indiglo dials - I think they have a much more modern look than the original clocks and they were not too expensive either They show up well on the video herehttp:// Rich

So, the car has just been sat on my drive for ages. So, the battery is completely flat as I didn't disconnect it. So since the snow has gone I'm thinking I might start it up. Is there anything specific that I should do before starting her? Apart from charging the battery lol

Just curious really but wondering what would be the best exhaust set up for a lwb auto, I want to be heard in the next county really lol, reason why I ask is mine has a custom system on it but pulled up next to an Aston martin the other day and WOW they sound incredible!! Whats the HKS super dragger like and can you get two and essentially flip one to keep the twin pipes?? Cheers guys

I've had bilstiens on my car for the last year or so, the front set are about 30 odd mm lower than stock and im not quite sure about the rear its definatly lower than stock. the ride is pretty good not too hard and surprisingly its actually easier to get over the humps, I think because it rolls about less. anyways in the ideal world id like to upgrade to adjustable coilovers, however cash isn't overly flowing atm due to other comitments. so ive been exploring different avenues other than forking out £500 for coilovers. ive thought about second hand coilover units using s13/r32 but tbh that isn't anywhere near cheap enough to make it worth the secondhand risk etc etc. So c…

Theres a pair of apexi coilovers over on driftworks just front there mega money new. someone might need some should be ok after a clean up .there not mine in parts for sale .

Trying over the years to replace this and that for better and I challenge anyone to have a better one of these than me he says modestly :biggrin:. Got all the FOUR arrow decals, no broken screw holes, I have the screw covers, have back lit it nice and blue and done the little arrow in red all to match my red and blue interior colour scheme :cool3:.

My car is all back together, havent been for a drive as yet...but been letting it idle a few times to get the air out of the system and check for leaks etc. The car ticks over lovely....then all of a sudden will dip down to around 600 revs then picks up again! Any thoughts on this, or is it a case of just giving it a bit of a run! Dave

Summary So i started the small project of tidying up my 300zx, hopefully im going to get the interior back to its original state mabeye a small bit of retrimming, all water tight and new t bar seals, take suspension off clean and maintain any bushes around the suspension, led lamps all round and other small bits on the car which can be appretiated to happen from the age of the vehicle. i am doing a small report to get advice on certain jobs and problems. i will be starting with the simpler stuff such as interior and water ingress trouble before getting bigger items done such as brakes or engine work. i am sure that there is probably a thread like this already but i couldn't find it, so started another. I have just been watching a film called Macgrubber (quite amusing so far if you like films like hot shots etc) and i saw a familiar car in the back ground so took this poor quality pic on my phone for all to see. if you see any more zeds in films then i think there should be a sticky thread for all to see in the future.

Right currently have my car for sale, but im wondering if It would be worth my while painting it and maybe a couple of other bits and bobs. If I was to paint it I would also send my ecu to noz and have him chip it and maybe fit some new downpipes. Oh and sort out the stance. Now my question is I suppose is if I was to do all that how much could I realistically ask for it?? On my phone just now so cant add the link but pictures can be found on my for sale thread.

Just got my car running after fitting new turbos and noticed a take off on the bottom of the balance bar on the passengers side, just above idle control valve open or "pipe-less" is this because I have done an egr delete? have blanked it now and all seems ok! Dave

As you can imagine since my turbos parted ways with there seal, ive been looking in the rear view mirror for smoke as much as the road infront waiting to see what happens. early reports were good did a few 5 mile round trips etc, at first there was a fair bit of smoke but then it died down, eventually the last few of those small journey's nothing. Which I was very happy with, yesterday I took it for a blat up the dual carriage way and back to see what it did again pulling well no smoke etc etc. So today I took it for a proper drive, I drove it for about 2/2.5 hours covering about 80 miles of mixed driving and full throttle acceleration through several gears. Hi white 300 with rear light conversion, Milton Keynes city centre around 11.30 lady driving.

Just bought one off eBay, £17 :) Apparently it's mapped for exhaust and intake upgrade, and 14psi, how can I check this and any other advice chaps :) Bought it off "beermonster65", anyone dealt with this user or are they on here ? Cheers
