A cold frosty 6.00am start at the zedworld workshop today, soon developed into a super busy morning, could not squeeze any more in at closing time, was a bit tight but all safely tucked up for the weekend, now what was it I needed to do next week.....? Jeff TT

The age old conception is that with an intercooler that is more efficient than stock, you get more horsepower. How true is that? do you automatically get more horses, or does it just allow you to run higher levels of boost more densely and i.e safer? so not really a power gain more a safety gain? just wondering what the facts are, and in reality all the people you see running feck off fmic's are more show than go on a car on stock tubs etc. Obviously I understand, that at a certain point with bigger tubs etc , a larger intercooler is required to process an increased level of hotter air and lower that temperature to a safe level. However what I'm asking about here is stock…

Lovely looking 99 Spec, so rare to see one crop up these days and not a bad price too! Wish there was more pics though. Anyone know if this is the one that was highlighted here a year or so ago? http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/nissan/300zx/nissan-300zx-twin-turbo-targa-automatic/1067747 Looking around, there really doesn't seem to be as many Zeds for sale as there were a few years back :cool3: Smithy

Now that winter is over and its getting close to the time when i will tax the Zed for the first time (€422 for 3 months ouch), i was thinking of storage solutions for the Glass in the T-Top when we eventually do get a sunny day. I was half thinking of buying some sheets of Neoprene rubber and getting a friend who is someway handy with a sewing machine to make me some , but that sounded like a lot of hard work. So a quick ebay search threw these up , and for €100 landed to my door i think its reasonable enough value and they dont look half bad. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nissan-300ZX-Syn-Leather-T-Top-Covers-Z-logo-Interior-/170938075769?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Acce…

I was driving up to beaulieu in my delivery van and at the top of wallhampton hill near lymington a very nice black convertible passed me with the hood down making the most of what is going to probably be the only sunny day we get for a long time. First time I have seen a zed in this area for many years and was a really nice looking car. James

I have had the speedometer lights flickering for about 3 months, i decided to look into it and today i found that its not a cable or plug but that its the plastic pcb board which sits directly on the rear plastic connecting everything. It has lifted slightly in places and when i push the slight bulge back down the lights work. is there any way of buying a new plastic pcb board, also i cant find any OEM dials anywhere online??. any help on this situation is greatly appreciated Marlow TT Cornwall

Hi NOZ, I am making this thread an open one in case there are others after the same info. I am currently using a chip I bought off you on ebay on my rebuilt stock motor and it is running very well, pulls strong at 1bar boost with no issues at all....that you for that. I have rebuilt a second motor with some good bits, wisecos 88mm, eagle rods, stock heads port matched and flowed, stock manual cams, cometics, ARP studs, 550 injectors, flowed stock exhaust manifolds with GT28RS turbos and divorced down pipes. I am hoping you can supply a chip which will support these mods or do you recommend a stand alone ecu. I know there are others on this forum who have experise…
