Hey Guys, Out of the few z's i have owned i notice that the end part of the windows always tend to have vertical scratches on the glass. Is there a particular reason for this??

Does anyone have these fitted and how does it change the sound etc? Any clips? Just got hold of a new set and gonna get them fitted over the next couple fo weeks.

Hey again does anyone know were i can find the door rubbers or whatever there called that go around the top of the windows and round seems mine are leaking, Was washing the car for the first time the other day and realised there was slight drips of water on the passenger side seat

Part way changing out my standard exhaust system to a 3" fully stainless one. So far I have managed to fit a de cat mongoose back section. At the weekend I hope to swap the pre cat standard part for a 3" inch through stainless one. My question is, can I remove the cast elbows with the engine in situ so as to de cat them and re fit? I know.. I can but dream!!:lol:

Hey guys, so i bought a zed in the the end of noz , great car really happy with it ! Car does have a few elec problems though !! 1 , cd/dvd player is not working and there is no power going to the red or black ?? I have checked the fuses under bonnet and in drivers footwell and they all seem ok ?? 2. The heater blower is working and gives out heat but does not blow through the vents into the cockpit , it does blow onto windscreen ?? Is this electrical ?? 3. Driver door will not lock on key or fob, key just turns it but it does not do anything ?? Any one any idea what is could be thats going on ?? I have noticed there is 2 heavy…

Hey guys before i waste my time taking of the bracket to drain the gearbox fluid from my auto box is there a filter and if so were can i get one, Ive searched on ebay but cant seem to locate one

This will be difficult to explain but here goes. The zed is running well, it idles fine, is smooth and pulls well on acceleration, but I have this small issue when driving at a constant speed. You feel the car ever so slightly bouncing in the revs, which manifests itself as a small rhythmic vibration in the cab (Steady!). Its most noticeable when you are in a higher gear and often when cruising up an incline. It only happens when the car is in gear, and stops instantly if you take it out of gear and coast, so I know its engine related rather than the drive train or wheels. Hi, I have my zed booked in for paint at the end of march. But tonight my painter phones and say I can now do this plasti dip and the do a lovely matte red that would look good on your zed.!! But iv only seen a couple of pictures and im unsure of how it would affect say resale etc. It is basically a liquid wrap, looks quite cool and he has offeres to do it for fre as long as I buy the supplys at 300 quid!! So whats everyones thoughts?? I would imagine most people on here will say dont do it but I could be surprised!?!

Hey Guys, My zed's got a spare tiny front number plate, what are the regulations in the uk regarding this matter. Would it e legal for me to use this instead of my full size number plate? Its white with black normal font! Cheers!

question for you all, can you fit a TT rad into an NA? ended up in a hedge yesterday after some **** clipped the back and its going to need a new rad as a branch went through it, ******* didn't stop either, and the police are useless so dout they catch him the bodyshop are going the rest of the repairs fairly cheap, luckly i have a spare bumper or 2 lol, but i have an alloy TT rad siting in my garage and want to know if i can make it fit?

Hey Guys, Bought a zx off a fellow member but its started to develop a certain issue. While driving it is fine but sometimes almost can smell like something is burning, however once i stop smoke starts to rise from under the bonnet or under the car(no a massive amount but noticeable, smells like oil) . Had a look underneath and the engine and front bits look very greasy, could it be a oil leak? Hicas light has come up during driving too but its just had the hicas pipes replaced and previous leak fixed at zed world two months back and it had a full check up! . :confused1: So what could be the probable cause? Not just yet but am starting to look at wheels again. Tempted by Rota GTR-D's. A few questions; what width can you get away with at the front and back without the risk of the tyres/wheels catching. What offset? I am wanting a big dish at the back, I assume the lower the offset the bigger the dish? Thanks, Dan

Hi Guys, For the last several thousand miles my car smokes blue out of the nearside exhaust. Only when sat idling after 3-5 mins. I have replaced the PCV and still have the smoke. My next step is to change the turbo on that side. What turbo is the replacement? Will I be able to use both the original flanges? What am I searching for? Garrett TB? T25? T2? Thanks, Dan

Can someone help ive put the driver side seat subframe in so many times ive stripped the tread. Because there captive nuts in the floor im not sure what to do the bolts are stripped as well anyone else done this thanks taff .

Hi, do i need a new pump? symptoms are as follows, while idle steering makes a whirring sound,, checked oil oil ok, but noticed a kink in one of the outlets of the resevoir, so i replaced and its still the same. any suggestions? tightening maybe?

Hi, newbee here, Not sure if this is meant to happen, but when i start my car the HICAS light is always on, is this normal? or is something up? also driving round a bend the other day ( hit pot hole ) made the Anti lock light come on? thats constantly on to now. and everytime i press the brake the "light" symbol flashes, i have checked bulbs and all are working..... One more thing ive noticed while driving at night, dipped beam is really poor, are the stock bulbs crap? worth buying uprated ones? Thanks in advance, leeroy
