Hi , i have a 93 auto, and need to pick a feed up from the gearstick area to trigger my reverse cam, can somebody clever please tell me exactly which wire i should tap into , and exactly where it is , maybe even with a piccy ??? thanks all Sayers

Just my luck been in london working for the last month came home for a long weekend to take my tt convertible into body shop the car is stripped every panel is removed for a full respray ,sods law the sun has been out and probably the only sun we will see and i cannot use my Z typical ..

Yesterday i let my brother drive my zed for the first time to take it to his garage to swap it for his Cortina. Only to find out that while he was sat at the junction 5 mins away from his garage a :censored: corsa has slammed into the back end and wrote my car off :censored::censored: the only plus side is the corsa was in a much worse way then the zed

As you all probably know, my zed has suffered from a few issues in the past that I have either fixed or learn to live with. Yesterday, I was driving home from work nice and gently. Stopped to buy my lottery tickets, then carried on with my journey. That's when it started, a knocking noise coming from the engine :( I thought I would take it to be looked at today, hoping it wasn't to serious. I have now been told that it was the little ends making all that racket and that I was either going to have to fork out for a rather expensive fix or a new engine. Not what I needed tho hear! Obviously I'm not mechanically minded, so question is..... Is the garage right? …

MOT is coming soon and I recon I might need to do the rear brakes. What disks and pads are best to get? It's a GTR 33 setup I have

Hey guys this is an old vid i come accross on you tube mainly zeds in there wondered if any of are in this..

Any tips on fitting a manual box, been jacking it up and down and just can't get the shaft into the back of the engine. Most frustrating, have tried to keep it level but things aren't lining up, used a clutch tool so know that's lined up ok.:bored:

Trying to save some cash when doing certain jobs on cars can work but some times its a false economy. Case in point yes a 350z I know but at least its a z so moving on, having had a new clutch fitted 2 months previous by one of the High street clutch specialists the owner thought her big spends were over for a while, however when changing the clutch the garage had recomended she had a new slave cylinder fitted, the cost been around £120 extra, the owner concidered it an extra cost they would rather not pay for so the box was fitted and all seemed well. Nice black 300 passed me on the A46 towards Stratford. Took us ages to get level with you as you turned off for the M40 I think. Very nice looking Zed with what looked like a 99 rear spoiler.

I left my ZX at the local garage this morning for an MOT and oil and filter change..... ......And collected it about an hour ago with a lovely new MOT; happily burbling away on a sump full of Castrol's nice clean finest!! Richard:thumbup:

Recent smoke issues that my car has had, have come, gone and reappeared differently. Im now starting to gear myself into the reality that I will have to rebuild the block, due to the smoke. I believe that the whisp of blue on overrun is one of my oil rings on the way out. Being realistic I cannot afford to do an engine rebuild, ive thrown the best part of a months wages at it over the last six months, and with trying to get a deposit together it would beirresponsible and selfish to keep throwing money at this car. I sat in my other car that ive not had long and came across a switch .witch turned out that its got power mirrors. How easy do you think it will be to awap them over so i can put then on my other 300?

Poor idle and stumbling can be caused by many set up issues but also by leaking/ poor sealing after market dump valves. However there is another issue we are seeing more and more commonly in the workshop and with the advent of inexpensive dump valves on ebay and similar looks set to continue. Today in the workshop was a classic example of this very issue, a zed came in that has been off the road for around 2 years, the engine was struggling to run and had a huge flat spot when statically revved, with an MOT booked for the afternoon I had to act fast. How bizare after posting a thread the other day about a damaged tyre inner wall, today I was changing some tension rod arm for adjustable ones, always an ideal time to check tyres I checked out the front inner walls of the front tyres and was surprised again to find the example below, again whilst in place the side view looked fine but gave little indication as to the poor condition on the inner wall, this looks to have been a pot hole or kerb strike. Make checking your tyre a regular job, even if you do smaller mileage and your zed is standing still for long periods. Hi guys at work today was clearing up all the crap from the work shop. Came across an intercooler for a bloody smart car, Looks very similar to oem zed intercooler or at least could be made to fit. Thing I found cool is it has an electric cooling fan built on them. Maybe just take fan off and bolt it to the zed intercooler and wire them to come on with the engine. I dont know much about tuning exept the cooler the better, so any experts if 2 of them were free would it be worth doing..

Hey guys this may be a stupid question but is there any difference between a swb and lwb fuel tank?

What is the general consensus with TT conversions from an N/A once the logbook has been updated etc, then you change the insurance to a TT. Would it generally be more expensive than a factory TT and be classed as a 'kit car' or anything silly like that or will it just a straight forward TT insurance? CheerZ Joel.
