Just a heads up to be careful when adding additional cables into existing circuits on your zed, cable size and fuse ratings need to be taken into account, and Nissan do things a bit back to front with the switching circuits electing to switch the earth rather than the live supply on most of the smaller circuits. Case in point I dealt with over the past week, a zed displaying some odd electrical issues with the lighting circuit and dash cluster. No fuses were blown and no obvious reason for the problems with the lights and non functioning dash cluster. Digging deeper and following the wiring looms nothing showed out, removing the dash cluster also intially faile…

Hi all, My 300zx tt is playing up on kick down, splutters and hesitates a little, was wondering if these are fitted with a maf sensor? , if so where would i find it? intending on doing a service shortly also. cheers ;)

Moved the zed out of the garage , washed it dried it off put it back in the perfectly dry garage and where the car was there is now a plate size puddle of oil.....how !!! The car has only done 150 miles since getting it back and again problems....getting so fed up ....keep an eye in the for sale section

Hoping for some help on this one, Got a bargain of eBay....... 251229080072 Told it was a veilside and that model C 1 Have had a look at quite a few pics of these to see how other people have fitted lights and not sure it is one, so first prob is that question and the other is, how the hell am I going to fit indicators and side lights to it as uk and Jdm won't fit ?!?!?! Any advice would be great, ta :)

would it be better to just save for a few months and try and source a nice low mileage tt engine for my car as the engine i have seems to have alot of problems - also does anyone know were i could source a tt auto engine for a uk spec car as i just wanna get an idea of price etc - the turbos are good on my car so i could reuse them but the rest of it i think is on its way out.

can anyone recommend a subtle exhaust that wont compromise power too much? what are the japspeed ones like? its for an NA so will be louder then a TT just finished repairing the zed after the crash, and the first time ever i don't really want to drive it any more. starting to feel really stupid with what sounds like a gang of harleys following me everywhere, its getting looks for the wrong reasons, between that and the Bee-R limiter on it (which my colleagues keep changing to 2,000rpm when im not looking :glare:) its getting a bit of a reputation that needs to change.

Hello guys. So i got a problem, my AVC-R, no matter what boost i set up, max boost its always 0.9 bar. Yesterday i want to test something and i set it up for 1.0 bar, max boost an AVC-R screen was 0.9 bar. So i try set it up at 1.1 bar , short run and.... 0.9 bar on AVC-R max boost screen... I got GT2560R turbos so i think 1.0 bar is not a big problem for them... Anybody know whats wrong? Whilst doing a routine assessment for a new owner last week we came across the wheel and tyre combo below, with a low ride hight and body kit fitted the wheel and tyre that was visable in normal use appeared just fine, in fact the tyre tread was very good. However whilst underneath the car we could see the inside wall was a very different affair, take a look and imagine the outcome of a long sustained motorway journey with this fitted to your zed, makes me shudder! what though makes me absolutely furious is the 12 months MOT that came with the car from 2 weeks earlier.....used car dealers!! and that was the tip of the problems. on my current zed, as i have no real history, would love to know who owned it at some point and the search function isnt really being helpful as im not sure what to search for? I know it was defiantly on the forum or owned by someone who had subscribed (or maybe they just got the sticker) as there is a faint outline where 300zx.co.uk can been seen under the rear window washer jet. K guys so i changed the spark plugs today was easy and no problems there so decided to take a good look at the car for the first time since ive not been able to since buying her - When i start her up there is like a buzzing noise comming from the back of the car not quite sure what it is but sounds electrical There is water comming out of the exhaust when given some throttle and some white smoke the water does seem a little dark like there is oil in it but it could also just be from the dirst inside the exhaust system as it dont look like oil or smell like it. Whats the deal? I've seen poly ones solid ones etc? some are saying with the solids you need spacer? confused! also do I need to fully remove the subframe to change them? or can I just drop it six inches sort thing? or is dropping it six inches the same as dropping it out completely?

Getting vibration at 40mph. I spent this morning changing the prop shaft over. I got a prop from a member a few weeks ago. I took it to a prop specialist and they put it on there machine and they said it was good and the bearing was good. Put it on the car and still getting vibration at 40. Can anyone suggest what else it could be because its doing my head in.
