Hi all, Appreciate any advice you could give me for my Greddy E-01. Haven't really made use of it so far as I'm not sure where to fix the settings. As far as I am aware, my fuel injectors are stock. I want the settings to make a noticeable difference but obviously don't want to damage my car! Here are my current settings: HI LO Thanks in advance, elymac23

Its says bike number plates are allowed on certain imports that meet the criteria. Trying to confirm this statement "If you qualify as an Imported vehicle and can satisfy the above criteria then you can legally display a plate with bike size font (64mm) rather than the standard UK car size font (79mm)." https://www.craigsplates.com/import-number-plates Thanks!

So i've owned the Zed since August last year, and one the first of march i taxed her for 3 months to the tune of €422... Ouch . Since paying that sort of wedge for the privilege of driving on our nations roads, I've been racking up miles on her since then and have myself a little Job list 1. Gearbox oil ,i have a suction pump and oil bought for this. Just gotta get to my buddies pit and get it done. 2. Engine oil ,I am at a loss at what is best to use. For some reason when i search on here for best oil , it throws up a blank. Whys that? Is it a touchy subject with too many variables/opinions. Anyway if someone could recommend a brand and a grade , fully synt…

Remember back in December this little gem of a problem....... A nice zed arrived this evening at the workshop via the AA, the sticker on the windscreen illustrates the perils of driving in bad weather, left it unchecked as time was getting on, so will see what tomorrow brings...have a bad feeling though....shame. Jeff TT Well as the insurance got involved and Christmas got in the way we had to wait until we had the ok to start, we removed the engine and finally got onto looking into the problem of the seized crank. With the sump drain of water and oil mix the engine was turned upside down and the sump removed, I should mention again t…

Hey Guys, I was rather curious as to if there any disadvantages or advantages to switching to front mounted inter coolers. I am sure when nissan designed the system they must have spend a lot of time and money into designing the side cross inter coolers. Would it not be better to just upgrade the size of the side inter coolers rather than changing to a front one?

Seeing as my Zed is in bits at the moment having a full leather refit, I put in some wiring for my new illuminated door sills and also some wiring into the doors for illuminated switches etc While upside down under the drivers footwell with the trim panels off I spotted yet another fuse box - what is this one for as opposed to the ones under hte bonnet (two that I know of)? Also there were a couple of things hiding under the back seat.... one is shown in the phot (red arrow) the one (no pic) is on the drivers side of the rear seat and was a bit bigger with a huge fook off connector plug attached to the top. What are those for? Just for future reference whe…

Many of you may not be familiar with these but the apparent advantages are vast esp with bigger tubs. However my gripe as always is price! $700 is esp by the time they land here in the uk disgustingly expensive for some ali tube with some flanges welded on etc. once the settings are on the machine these are seriously easy to make and cheap, so that mark up must be horrendous. I think im going to have to start speaking to afew people about how much it would cost to have some made locally.. http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=4894&Car_Type=300&UID=2013031311073482.10.116.65

Date of Manufacture is stamped on in many locations on our Z32's. But I didn't know it was on the triangle base of the mirrors, I believe this drivers door mirror I have pictured here is original to my Jap Nov 1994 car and is clearly stamped 31/08/94, my other side as been replaced at some point and that is dated 19/11/94 which is after D.O.M. However, I do have another set of mirrors which I do believe are UKDM and although there is a stamp in the exact same location I cannot make head nor tail of it .

Hi, everytime i press the brake pedal i get "light" fash up on the dash, checked all bulbs all working fine, is this a warning to let you know a bulb is out? if so all my bulbs are working properly?. also Anti-lock light comes on randomly, would that be a dirty sensor? if so where abouts are they located? on the caliper? can they be cleaned? or would it be the ABS relay playing up? Thanks in advance leeroy

Have seen a few topics cropping up again about injectors failing and the quicker method of dremeling the plenum to gain access to the fixing screws. Many of the guys reading this may not have a clue what it means and had the opportunity today whilst changing a single injector ( number 6) on a non turbo but the same method applies to the twin turbo. So starting off with the balancer bar removed and loom pulled back. The faulty injector can be seen a little better now The cold run part of the idle control valve removed for even more access. Close up it is now clear how one of the injector cap fixing screws cannot be undone due to the p…

There has been a few threads recently about turbo swaps without removing the engine and by pure chance in the workshop today I had the opportuntity to take a few pics when working in the same area. As it happens there was nothing wrong with the turbo, this poorly zed had a noisy manifold gasket but of course to gain access to the manifold required the turbo removal. Its interesting to see quite how involved this job can be and the lack of room, also when all removed the area looks like a bomb site!! Enjoy !! Jeff TT Starting off with the booster and brake master cylinder removed to gain some access. [ATT…
