Hi I had a new nose put on my 1990 300zx NA after an accident and the guys who did the job presented me with two panels that they took off and which wouldn't fit back in with the new aftermarket nose. The panels are marked RH and LH and they have a sort of scoop and vent to both sides of the panel. The are thin black plastic, maybe a foot by a foot and a half. Can anyone please tell me where they go or point me to a picture. I would like to put a stock nose back on some time and I would like to put the panels back where they are supposed to go. Thanks, Mooch

Right im going to get some HID's, when i got my zed, i have replaced all the internal cogs with tamiya gears, polished the projectors, and chromed the inserts. but i cant but the problem is i cant remember if i have uk or jap spec lights, basically at the time i removed the original UK lights, the jap ones were off the other car, now hopefully i refitted the uk, but this is me we are talking about, and if the evil stella artois was involved i could have a uk and a jap on my car now. Question is Which HID kit is best for value and which one. it will be 6000k, but is their a difference between Uk and Jap.......ie is UK H3 or H3C or is jap , i know main beam is H1 but …

I'll be heading from the Midlands to the middle of Wales via various places in the next few days to pick up some large bulky items. I'll be in a van so if anyone needs any items collecting and delivering the same day within a large radius of my route please feel free to get in touch. Stuff such as engines, gearboxes, interior, tailgates & panels, wheels etc. :thumbup1:

Starting to track things that are not fixed on my Z32 TT, and I have a first question after my presentation in the newbies section: The Emerald ECU has been mapped and gives 501 Bhp according to the test report: Fine. The Racelogic traction control has been disconnected for this mapping, and I wonder if this was just for performance measurements without the interference of the racelogic, or if there is some non compatible reason for this disconnection? I suppose that the racelogic system on a Z32 is connected on the ABS sensors to detect rotation speed differences from each wheel? To have a power adjustment, the racelogic system is also connected to the injecto…

Hello festive chaps...Ive fitted 3 Stack gauges to my pillar pod and they have built-in LED white lights but they are far too bright:thumbdown: I cant wire them into the dimmer system as then the speedo lights become so dim i cant see them so my question is can i put some kind of a resistor in-line to reduce the brightness of the gauges??? and what value will that resistor be???.

On searching the ebay pages I came across this, I bought one of these well over a year ago and I recommend as it was fitted to mine in the summer by Lee Dent. In the past there as been issues/threads/posts with regard to these being too long but not this one :thumbup1:. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-200SX-240SX-300ZX-350Z-370Z-ALTIMA-MAGNETIC-OIL-DRAIN-PLUG-12mm-1-25-/190775008467?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c6b139cd3

I made some of these up a few months ago and used CCFL ring halos, a little twist on them now as these are SMD ring lights - hope you like. These will be on an auction site on the 27th Dec for 10 days so if you want have a bid, also another addition to my youtube channel. I like them and will fit a set in my own in Jan, the video does not show it as good as real life but the SMD lights are very sharp and bright, you can also see these clearly when the dipped HID's are turned on :cool3:. spent ages trying to get round my handbrake problems with my Na, and in doing so have modified my S13's old hydraulic handbrake to fit in the existing place with the OE ratchet, so its road legal. but then realised, unlike my TT which i did the modifying on as its in bits so made it easier, that the ABS module isn't in the boot...??? does this mean i have a non abs zed??? or are they somewhere else on the NA (both are LWB) if i do have a non abs, do i have 2 separate brake lines going to the rear? so how would i plumb my nice new handbrake in? on the TT it was going to sit in-line after the abs module before it splits off left & right. can i…

Yay, as above, passed this morning, 2 advisories, which i was quite shocked about after going over the car to make sure there would be nothing to pick up on lol. Both front tyres, although have loads of tread and still look newish where badly worn on the very inner band of the tyre. This as far as i can see is because i fitted some hubcentric spacers in the summer and should have had the wheel alignment re done to compensate :pinch: So after crimbo two front tyres and a Hawk eye wheel alignment is on the cards:thumbup1: I noticed when i had two new rear tyres fitted this morning that the rear pads were really low, ive ordered new ones, but hoped that it wo…

When my new alloys were fitted the guys at the tyre shop were complaining bitterly that the thread on three of the bolts (studs?) on the offside front wheel are knackered. With some use of WD40 and winding a wheel nut on and off the studs repeatedly they managed to get four of them fitted OK but the other one is knackered So I only have four nuts on that wheel - they left the locking one off. Now then - do I need to get some replacement studs and then get the hub off and stripped down to fix this or is it easier just to get a second hand hub with five good studs Cheers for the advice as many of you have probably spotted by now I'm no mechanic (unless i…

Well after around trip of 450 miles yesterday and some of the wettest weather I have ever driven in I am the the new owner of a SWB Slicktop N/A, got lots of plans for it. It will be getting some of the parts from my silver car and then I will be breaking it. I don't have any pictures of my own at the moment but I'm sure Mark alias (Mackam_Maz)won't mind me using some of his, thanks Mark and good luck in your new adventure. Cheers Paul

Hi all, I've spotted a 300ZX that I'm hoping to go and have a look at tomorrow so have been doing research before I do. Very excited about the possibility of owning a 300ZX :D One thing I noticed about the car that doesn't add up as I am doing my research is the stock boost gauge is marked -7 to +7. I found other TT examples of this on European and Australian forums but can't find anything to explain why... Would appreciate anyone being able to help me with this :) The car is a 1991 (Z32) and comes back from the MID as 'NISSAN 300 1990-1994 Petrol 3.0L Manual 2 doors ZX TURBO' Thanks, Jynx
