Hi all, In yet another dilemma....Trying to fit my Abflug bumper last night and found that the way the custom pipe work fits on the intercooler I would have to cut lots off the bumper to make it fit this is something I dont want to do. Once the car has been mapped and I know its healthy I want to have the pipes re done eventually so cutting the Abflug to fit now would destroy it. So im thinking of buying another bumper for now. This would also give me time to have some minor repairs done to the abflug. Does anyone have any urethane bumpers or pre worked fibreglass for sale? Ideally urethane as I dont want to mess around with fibreglass trying to get a dec…

According to the discription below the "item" this is Z32 300ZX... trying to take an unbiased opinion of it (I love the Z32 looks) I don't really think you could call it an improvement :( http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2013-Lamborghini-Reventon-kit-car-95-finished-Turn-key-running-and-driving-/261297946421?pt=AU_Cars&hash=item3cd6923f35 Tommo

The breaker I bought a few months back left my drive today destined for the crusher. It was a silver 89 NA, at least it's heart will live on with whatever zed it gets transplanted into !

Ok, so was excited that I finally bolted my engine into the new shell today and started reconnecting everything. I got to the compressor connections and the damn things are different! It's a TT shell and an NA engine. Do TT's use a different compressor, or is this some kind of auto transmission thing (cant think why)? Neither connections fit, though one is a new pipe I got from ebay a while back, as I stripped the threads removing it from the NA shell, I think it's a TT pipe, but when I bought it I didn't know they were different. I'm guessing TT's have different compressor, but why?!

I've been doing a bit of touching up of the bodywork on my old volvo workhorse and it appears I've left the masking tape on too long! It looks like some of it will be a nightmare to remove, especially the glue residue. Has anyone got any top tips, apart from not leaving it on so long!?

My car has developed a revving issue recently which is getting worse. As I'm slowing down (under 30mph) the engine starts revving between 600 & 1k revs & then settles back down again as the car is coming to a stop or speeds up. The base idle does change slightly aswel when the car is in park, between 600 & 750. Its an auto na. Any ideas what it could be?

Surprisingly this didn't take as long as I thought, but I've managed to get it ready within the weekend. So here's the progress photo's This is how it looked when I picked it up from Lee on Saturday. It appeared as if at some point a silencer had been welded into the tip, so my mission was to remove the weld and try and make it look as acceptable as possible. My first attempt Saturday was to try and hacksaw it off, but it was taking the piss out of me (stupid 5 picture rule)....

Is it just a case of getting a kwick-fit type place to source some or do these need to be special order and custom made? Any advice welcome...

Decided to take both inter coolers off today as they are quite corroded and battered with road debris etc, My question is, will she run OK? enough for me to put her back in the garage with them still off? Not likely to do any harm am I? I will put some before and after photos up later. While I have the front end off, is there any particular points of interest that anyone would like photos of? Thanks in advance.

I have just fitted a HID kit, when I turn the lights on the engine rpm drops a fair bit, I put a multi meter across the battery terminals before the lights switched on and got 13.8 volts, with the lights turned on the voltage dropped down to 12.2 volts, this is without anything else turned on, no air con, stereo or any other lights. Cheers for any help.

I've done a search through some old posts but I was just wondering what the current consensus was regarding the options/methods available to paint the tailgate. With the seals being so expensive, does anyone have any nifty tips as to the most cost effective method. My painter suggested that if I don't remove the trim to get the paint in and under it, (ie masked off the trim) the lacquer would possibly peel from the edge in the future.
