Whilst there has been many a debate about the virtues of stock brakes on here, I have always been of the opinion they are good - as long as they are in full working order..... .....And I had the opportunity to test that theory this morning when a small child ran across the road in front of me, without looking or warning. Luckily there was no-one behind me, as I doubt they would have stopped as quickly!! Richard:nono:

Hi I bought 6 pot 2 piece venom rears with Hella lights from Baz off ebay but a bit confused about the lights. Not fitted yet. At present the set up is outer light red LED, inner lights are tail lights, brake lights and indicators. Are the outer LED lights daylight running lights or can they be used as the tail lights? as I would like to change the inner configuration to indicator, brake light, one side reversing the other fog. Hi guys, Im in a bit of a pickle at the moment as my engine and gearbox are out of the car and it needs moving across the country asap. I can put the plenum back on and put it in the bay with the engine mounts bolted to the subframe but will that be rigid enough for transportation or do I need to brace the engine from moving forward and back somehow? Im not going to have time to put the gearbox back on.

Hi, I bought these on here a few years ago, I've tried looking on how to fit them but every guide seems a bit vague. I bought them as Bailey dump valves but since found these are called 'Professor Sheepdog' BOV's. Is it the same fitment?

Hello Zedders, I really need to upgrade my braking system soonish. Standards are shite as it is and having 19inch wheels make it worse. Brake fade and that annoying/embarrassing whistling sound when braking needs to be got rid of. Changing pads helps a little but the problems return in a few months. So need a good upgrade. What are good options?? Need the whole standard setup off. I'm not a racer or a Z thrasher. Don't like people hearing how loud my exhaust is but every now and then, if the straight road is clear..... You know how it is lol.. So for my piece of mind, I want a good setup behind my wheels. Any recommendations or thoughts towards the right di…

Saw the above on USA's ebay site, item no. 220810178809 Cost + p&p converts to £77/£78 although I suppose there could be additional import taxes, VAT etc to pay on top of that! I 'phoned a local Nissan dealer and quoted the part no: 62254-VP100 and it did come up as a front grille but looks like it would have to come from Japan as availability was three weeks. Stated £95 + VAT which equals £114 Anyone else have this part and was it generally available? Perhaps available from our MJP? Cheers as ever! Ronnie

I'm probably in the market to upgrade my turbos (and no one seems to advise me about this on my 'lots of white smoke' thread if you want to read the history) So politics and recent events aside........ do you run upgraded turbos on your Z and what would you advise? Personally I am after maximum acceleration rather than brute power, if that helps to narrow things down...... so something that will spool super fast and give it a damn good kick is what I want! So far, from advice, GTX 2860's have been reccomended Before anyone points it out.... Yeah I know to get the full benefit I would have to upgrade induction/intercoolers/injectors/exhaust but I…

I haven't got exact figures yet but I just got to Elgin on a single tank. 348miles on a tank! Now I normally hate miles per tank but as I couldn't afford to brim the tank again at this end it will have to do. I filled the tank with momentum 99 as I set off and started the trip meter. I decided at Stirling when I had exactly half a tank after 180 miles that I was doing it on one tank or pushing. Now with about 40 miles to go in the middle of lord of the rings I passed a rare petrol station with a fuel tank a woman would call empty. By the time I had 10 miles to go even I thought it was empty but I got to Elgin Tescos after 148 miles. I'll just crunch some numbers…
