I've seen 3 or 4 (might have seen one twice) from nissan now, 2 from https://nissangenuine.com/ and 2 from a local dealer and they all leave a lot to be desired. Here's a few photos of what I'm seeing Crack (where it changes colour): Swirl marks and a crack: Swirl marks: Crack on the edge: Surely this can't be normal?!? The dealers are very uninterested in helping find a decent one. Hanwell today were trying to tell me they couldn't see a crack when it was blindingly obvious. I've asked CZP if they can supply a better one, not sure what else I can do

I need to replace the fuel (and brake) lines that run front to back. The brake lines, my mechanic and I are happy with. The fuel lines look to be bigger, does anyone know the diameter? We think its 8mm, but need it confirming. Also what material should they be? Copper, like the brake lines? Steel which corrodes? Stainless? Can I buy preformed sections that go up and over the rear subframe? I have spent the last three days on the internet and seem to only find info about braided stainless line for the engine bay. Thanks

Just spotted this youtube video of scotty kilmer, a big time mechanic youtuber talking about selling his toyota celica for a nissan 300zx. I've watched a few of his videos in the past for servicing tips and so forth and I know he tells it like it is and doesnt bullshit, so to see him praise how easy it is to work on our cars as well and recommend buying one to collect is great in my opinion. What do you guys think?

July usually means MOT time for the Z but due to Covid 19 all test centres are closed. This Z has never failed an MOT and I am slightly angry that there is this blank space in its MOT history but it does have an exemption till December. But then in December the Z is of the road on a sorn so it will be the Spring before it gets a proper MOT. How is MOT testing in the rest of the UK going are they still open? https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/VehicleFound?locale=en

Being a 300zx forum, obviously we all love the Z32 otherwise we’d be driving something else, but it’d be interesting to know what other 90’s Jap cars would come close to the Z32 in your wish lists/dream car garage? I’m thinking cars such as the below; - Skylines of all shapes - Rx7’s Fc3s and Fd3s - Supra - Soarer - Nsx - S2000 - Impreza - Evo - Gto/3000gt - Celica Gt4 - Other type R Hondas; civic/integras For me personally my dream car garage would be as follows and reasons why; 1) Z32 300zx TT - because it’s perfect! 2) Rx7 Fd3s with a 20b triple rotor - noise, ease of power, handling and beautiful shape 3) Nsx facelift model of the 2000’s - beautiful…

Hi All I am trying to get my Zed back on the road after a lengthy (10 years+) period. After some kind recommendations on here I was put in touch with Jimmer, who has given me some advise. Then the fit hit the shan in March and I haven't got any further. Now it is time to get things rolling again. The front windscreen is cracked badly and requires replacement, and would be good to get this done before I send her up to Jimmer to work his magic. I have a put up a advert on here but no luck as yet. Just wondering if anyone has had to do the same and can give me any pointers. My Zed is a: 91, TT, LWB, Japanese Import. I believe the…

hi guys so I have a misfire on cylinder 6 (I think the rear cylinder next to the battery ) anyhow been right through it, spark plug is wet when i remove it, checked for spark and that seemed a bit weak so I have a s2 PTU on he car but used the adaptor harness from the series one plugs, so I hardwired the s2 plugs to my loom. I pulled the injector connector gave the injector terminals a clean, measures the resistance and it was 12.3 ohm, however put it all back together still missing, I listened to the injector with a stethoscope and it's working but it hasn't got the high pitched 'ping' of the other injectors, so after speaking to jimmer we both now think it's a faul…

I was just wondering about the gold Certified by Nissan Sticker that lives on my rear quarter glass. Mine looks like it has someone's name written on the back of it. Does anyone know the story of these and what the signature signifies on the back?

I finally got round to swapping my intermittent clocks for a UK set I bought months ago. I used to know all this, but it's been a few years and my brain is older and smaller It turns out what I was sold as a series one UK set is actually a series two, so it doesn't just swap out the hole unit ? So I'm swapping the speedo unit over, that's easy enough. What I can't remember is the mileometer. I think the mileometer is fed from the output of the speedo unit (via the plug on the back) so swapping in a UK speedo into jap clocks will convert the mileometer into miles automatically? Does this sound right? Or do I need to also swap in th…
