Has any body a picture of the back of the bonnet looking into the engine bay while the bonnet is closed? I was doing a few bits yesterday and noticed I can see into the bonnet and if I so choose put my hand down and touch the battery meg terminal. Now this doesn't seam right to me... I've looked and it doesn't seam like anything is missing off the passenger side trim but I could be wrong. Thanks Neil

  5. Just a little advise please guys....... I am looking to purchase some T10/501 amber filaments. I have been looking on eBay for a high output led bulb. I searched for hours last night only to find all sellers saying "high output" "power led" "high power"....... it goes on for ever :( Do you know a good eBayer or other company that can supply a genuine high wattage/lumen T10/501 LED filament? Many thanks....... Alz.

I'm about 160 miles from my car, so can't measure it myself. What size is the rear number plate on an import? Just about to order a new set of plates, and want to make sure I get the right size rear. Cheers

Took the old impul one off to fit a z1 provided oem style jobber. The short shifter came with it so I took the centre console up and dismantled it all. After putting it all back together it only goes into first and not all the way. Item one Item two Item three So what have I done. Should the ball socket thing be greased in item one. Item one also was pulled up into the socket by item two and seemed to seat itself correctly. I think this is where the problem lies. Item three just the short shifter right? Everything was done up "pretty bloody tight" rather than "red in the face tight" as they were when I took it to bits. …

Ok... so im looking into the idea of a rebuild, and got some quotes for that which im happy with. Im not looking for massive power as i want the car to remain driveable and tbh i haven't got the cash to upgrade all the other stuff that goes with chasing big numbers. Ive done a search and read quiet a lot of stuff, a lot of it seamed to be from a few years ago so was just wondering if the info ive read is still valid? Ive seen the recommended rebuild kits.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Turbo-Rebuild-Kit-Garrett-T25-T28-Nissan-S13-CA180DET-/130868893035?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1e7864d56b And feel its something that i cou…

Hey, does anyone have any suggestions to how I separate the thrust bearing carrier, from the thrust bearing? Do I need a garage to press it out / in? Also, lubrication wise, I was going to use a high temperature lithium grease? - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CARLUBE-LM2-MULTI-PURPOSE-GREASE-500g-TUB-LITHIUM-BASED-HIGH-MELTING-POINT-/320998109632?pt=UK_Vehicle_Oils_Lubricants_Fluids&hash=item4abcfa71c0

Is it the rain or is just the day? What fuse directly controls the dash lights? I thought it was the "accessories" fuse that was in the b"gger of a place to get to - behind the drivers fuse panel. Dash lights not working again. Replaced that blue fuse again, checked all visible fuses - all fine. Just still no dash lights. Any ideas anyone? A short somewhere? Battery is good and all pod functions work. Its stumped me! GT

I really want one, but I don't want to pay a fortune for one shipped from the US, and I don't want to change any of my locks or ignition barrel, Any Idea of any in the UK? there's some really nice silvia ones on ebay with a nice key ring. but no 300 ones. I know Z1 do them but would be a bit pricy to get it shipped after taxes etc are applied? don't suppose Si would be able to pick me one up when he's over the states? :whistling: http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?products_id=5236

  19. Aimed at the older members here but interesting to all. I own an almost new pair of purpose made 3 hole fitment decat pipes that overcome the age old problem of fitting Auto zeds without knocking the drivers side in with a hammer to fit and clear the bottom pan. The quality of the construction is the best out there and fit 100% perfect on the turbo elbos right back to the front of the catback including the OEM hangers from the bottom of gearbox. These pipes are special in the respect that they retain the turbo elbo,s not like the divorced type that needs you to fit down pipes from the turbo housing, they fit turbo and none turbo, manual and auto. They were supplied by an old…

Hello guys found myself in a spot of bother, when i brought my zed it only had one key (not an original) so i went online and got myself two new blank keys and went to the local hardware store to get then cut, at this point the guy told me that the keys didn't mach and couldn't be cut. i went of home thinking i had brought the wrong key but from looking at photos online it looks like i have a copy of the valet key. dose anyone know if a valet key can be cut to normal key? thanks in advance :D

  25. This is a general warning for those in the south of England, looks like we might get hit with gale force winds up to 80mph, might be an idea if you park your zed out side, to leave it well away from tree's or area's likely to flood, we have a high precipitation chance for Sunday night / Monday. Id hate to see a post of someones car being crushed by an up routed tree, 80mph winds are strong enough to cause that, especially mixed with heavy rain that would saturate the ground leaving it in prime condition for a tree to be up routed.
