After a little drive today I noticed green water, which I think is coolant, dripping from the front of the passenger side. It looks like its coming from behind the intercooler. The radiator water level is fine, but I will keep my eye on it. Any ideas what it could be? Had the coolant bottle broke or could it just be a split pipe? Any help please. Thanks. Stuart

Hello Andy. I bought a few bits from you a while ago and was hoping you could help me again. I need a Nearside front upper wishbone, my car failed the MOT because the bush on this was worn to excess I wouldn't normally put something like this on second hand but I need a Quick fix temporarily. If you can help me drop me an email or reply here. Cheers Lee

I'm no engine/car expert, but surely a 3-litre twin turbo has more potential power than a 2.6 ? litre twin turbo. Is it that the skyline has a less cramped engine bay ? Why aren't there 1000+ BHP ZX's ?

  15. I have all the bits required to do the conversion except the pedal box including the pedal pumbs. I am in Cyprus at the moment and I have looked everywhere and I couldnt find any. Can somebody help me find any in UK? I'll pay for all the cost including shipping. I've heard that 200SX pedals are exactly the same as 300ZX. Is it true? I'll really appreciate it if somebody give a little bit of help.

Anyone fried eggs on their bonnet after a reasonably long run ?! I got rid of the sound insulation on the inside and now the bonnet gets really hot - it could do with a vent. Anyone put in a vent (cooling not an intake like Subaru's have)like most other turbocharged cars have, as they run so bloody hot - no wonder the oil needs changing more often !! Same goes for my 200SX. It also makes you wonder how much hotter the engine must get when you significantly increase the engine power and boot the car. Thinking of using my engine to heat the house in the winter instead of the central heating boiler !

My car is stock but I want to upgrade air filter, exhaust and CPU to allow engine to be breath and function as efficiently as possible. I read about Dastek's UNICHIPs and they sound really good - has anyone got any experience of them and/or can compare them against other chip upgrades ?

There are probably no other cars to touch it for the price, in terms of performance and looks/features. But why is it so cheap ? - because most people buy a car based on what other people's perception of the car will be...so they want a flash car and they buy a Porsche, Ferrari, Lotus, Jag., Merc,BMW etc., NOT a Nissan !! So by buying a 300ZX, you are showing that you buy an item on it's own merits, NOT on PERCEIVED merits (unless you just couldn't afford a Porsche, Ferrari etc. !!). But the car is clearly not just another Nissan - it's a special car, built for performance and driver comfort, with very little compromise. It's getting one over on the Nobs who buy a badge i…

Okay guys...still got the clicking on my front brakes unless its the drive shaft...kinda horrible click and clunk and rattle. Brakes okay though! Any suggestions? Anyone also know who does good alloy wheel repairs in the East midlands or midlands area? I run 17" OZ Racing Split Rims and I got a nasty dent on one wheel at rear..think that's why I get vibration at about 65mph. Thanks peeps. Stu Leicester

Can anyone tell me what the 'official' time span is for changing a cam belt. I dont have the time to check the figures but I'm sure that it was every 3 yrs or xxxxxx miles. If it is 3 yrs then mines up for a new one. I went to see my main dealer today and they said every 5 yrs?. They also quoted a price of ~£282 for the job, all inclusive. Does that sound like a fair price?, I thought so. The zed also 'squeals' when it is cold, but ok when warm. Anyone have any ideas what that could be?. The dealer couldn't answer that one but said that it sounds like it is coming from behind that black plastic cover on the front of the engine. Could be a belt (hopefully!). …

Please help, I am desparate! None of the local garages seem to be able to sus my problem..... The drivers side front wheel is leaning in at the top giving it a camber reading of -2.5 (spec is -1.35 to -0.05 I beleive)This is enough to see the problem by eye. This is causing excessive tyre wear on the inside edges. Other symptoms are steering wheel woble at all speeds above about 50 MPH. Not balancing as I have had that done many times. It also makes a sharp klicking noise from that side under heavy braking, especially as I lift off the brakes. No obvious loose parts (bushes etc) not been in any accidents, all original(stock) parts. Please help. If you know of…
