Yes, I have better things to do, but it's bugged me for long enough. What's the best way to remove some 12 year old welded on plastic stickers from the window? Don't want a big sticky mess left behind and it's on the heated rear window lines so I have to be carefull with blades etc. I was thinking of trying a hair dryer to help soften it up first... Jez.

has nobody heard of the dreaded goose honk? after doing a lot of searching i finally found what the noise is that ive been hearing. when you put aftermarket induction in ya car there is a noise from ur recircs which is amplified by ya induction and sounds like a goose honk. i thought something was flying around in my engine! seems i have another mod guys (goose power) 300 bgp at the wheels for me! cant believe you havnt heard of this,the aussi's must have more geese down under

hey bud,ive been doing some searches and our sound is known as a goose honk! from wat i can find out it is the sound the recircs make which is increased when you put an aftermarket induction in the only way to remove it is to put bovs in . from what ive read it is quite normal and cant do any damage but DONT take my word for it! HOPE THIS HELPED M8 now ive only got to sort my hesitation prob so im half way there with a HONK LOL JAY

Since hearing a few stories being banded about about engines going bang etc. I am starting to think that it's not all it's cracked up to be! My car looks good now and to be honest I think they are fast enough as stock...Twin Tubs I mean. I've done the zorst, intake and ECU but am seriously going off the idea of big engine work and fuck off big hairdryers!!! I know that it's all about 0-100 and 1/4 mile times etc. but why spend 20K to get your time down by about a second? I'm not slagging here, just my opinion but am interested to see what other people reckon. Or is it just that there aren't enough decent tuners in this shite arse country to set them up…

When my car was stock the Techtom would read between 86 and 89 degrees F depending on the weather. Water temp I'm on about. Since having the Stillen front on and the Astra GSi bonnet vents the car is now reading 83 degrees...even yesterday when the outside temp was a lovely 23 degrees Charlie! Pukka! The idle on tickover gurgle & the goose honk on full boost, - i've drained the system (wiped the pipe off & let the condensation out) a couple of times now. But one of you lot said at a meet 'bung a hole in the plastic box mate, sorted'. Ok fair enough as it needs draining again. what would cause one front wheel to appear to be out of alignment. It appears to be closer to the front bumper than the edge of the wing i.e not central within the arch, ohh on a completly stock setup???

Hello chaps its David from Slaters in abergele just saying a big thanks to timmy turbo and all the other chaps in the north wales area that bring there 300zx down to Slaters for me to tinker with, i am now currently working within the skoda department, so i dont see as many 300zx as i would like, but you cant have everything. But if there is one tip i can give you all after working on 300zx since there lanuch. CHANGE THE OIL EVERY 4500 MILES USING A GENUINE FILTER. later chaps david

I'm getting the Strosek / Paul Bailey lights fitted and I've noticed some people have the indicators as the inside pair, some as the outside. Is there a right and a wrong way? I thought side lights had to be at the edge of the vehicle but maybe I'm wrong. I was discussing this with DaveW a few weeks back and he said he wished his were the other way round.

Hmmmm ... I wasn't going to post anything with regard to the car mats until I'm completely satisfied with the quality but what the hell! I'm working with two companies who can supply excellent quality matting for our cars (it took me three weeks to produce a template that fits perfectly). As I stated before, I'm not yet happy with everything and will probably need three weeks to a month to sort prototype issues out. Once I'm happy I'll post again.
