Pulled up at the lights in Chelsea and saw to be what I thought was a replica AC Shelby Cobra! Asked the bloke if he built it and the answer was it was a real one we pulled over and it was? I was in total shock there was my all time favourite motor driving down the road. I was tempted to car jack the bloke but an empty convertible Z left in the middle of Chelsea might give the Police a lead! Mark

Ok.. after 11 months - I've finally got an engine back in the Zed - and am now beginning to wire the bugger back up again. On the alternator there is one two pin connectors, one fat ring connector and one smaller ring connector. Now my memory tells me that the larger ring goes to the (+) positive post on the alt. Is this correct? I ask because when I connect it all up like that - just about every warning light comes on on the dash!! :S Help! ------------------ Simon

I've just got my first z after driving an alfa 155 for the last couple of years. Thank God the Japanese starting making cars... Anyway just a quick one. I have noticed every time i start my (300zx N/A) car and ingage drive, an electrical noise of some kind is made form the rear any ideas as to what it is ?

hi lads company called I.T.S Turbos ltd they will charge you from £99 to recon your turbo, the most they will charge is £375.00+vat and thats exchange. they do Hybrid etc they have an advice line wich is open 24hours aday 7 days aweek now this is the one all turbos have a two year guarantee how many other places do this, i spoke to a guy from there because i have a turbo down at the moment and he said on a twin turbo never replace one turbo not because the other one might go but it imbalancies the engine and can cause damage any way thought you might like to know about this company,tele 0113 285 4922 has anybody used this place if so let me no

hi lads just fitted a blitz induction kit,the difference is very good, with the kit i have 3 brackets now the instructions are in japaneese and the pictures arent any good as well have any of you out there got one of these fitted with the brackets or did you not bother with them any help would be appreciated Alan

Does anyone have a view on the fuel addatives such as Redex?. Do they make any difference. They also do a gearbox addative that is supposed to improve gearbox life and give smoother changing. Any comments welcome.

I had to change the odometer a year ago so now it is underreading by 110,000km. I am now so p*ssed off with this that I want to get the correct reading back again. This may be the first recorded case of someone wanting to increase recorded kms but then I even give back incorrect change to bartenders. Got a new speedo face but can't get to speedo to fit it. Removed the top of the instrument panel undid 2 screws holding the metal frame for front face on undid two screws underneath steering wheel but couldn't remove the instrument panel front to get to speedo. What else do I need to do? Please help Cheers Rich
