I've just got my first z after driving an alfa 155 for the last couple of years. Thank God the Japanese starting making cars...

Anyway just a quick one. I have noticed every time i start my (300zx N/A) car and ingage drive, an electrical noise of some kind is made form the rear any ideas as to what it is ?

I get that too, I think its perfectly normal (sounds like shock absorbers adjusting but I'm not sure if that's what it is)

hi dylan good one but ive changed mine with the konis so dont have all them connecters on top of the shocks any more puzzles me

all I can think of it the fuel pump, a quite high pitched buzzing noise?

Still, look on the bright side - I met a guy last year who has a GTO in Belfast and his insurance is £8,000 per year.
