I'm after a JWT style dual pop setup but have a Blitz filter I'd like to keep and don't need the JWT ECU either. Does anyone know where I can get the bits to assemble my own? Pipe bends, dummy MAF pipe and fittings for a second Blitz SUS? Will 2 Blitz filters fit in the space? Also I'm broke so for free would be nice :D LOL Chris.

I have a 1990 jap NA 2 seater. For some reason the car seems to limit early in 3rd (about 6000 rpm), 4th (5500 rpm) and 5th (5000 rpm). I have no idea why this is happening and its really annoying!! I have only had the car a few months so i dont know where it was derestricted. I went to CRD (calder racing development) and they all seemed pretty stupid. I told them the problem, but they had to have a check for them selves. Fair enough i thought, get it on the rolling road! Nope, they took it out on public roads (5 oclock, pissing rain) to have a look. After the boy who was driving (i went with him) got the arse out twice and told me about how he took a customers E…

Im a fairly new 300zx owner. Ive recently bought a 1990 jap, manual, NA, 2 seater. Ive been interested in z's for a while and have always wanted one. I decided to go for the non turbo cos im only 19 and this is the first car ive insured in my own name. Anyway, i dont find the car particularly fast so ive spent a lot of time trying to find the best way of improving the performance. It seems that its not really that hard to get the car to about 280 bhp, but is it worth it? The car is gorgeous and it runs very well, but should i spend this kind of time and money just to get the car up to the kind of performance of a standard TT or should i just enjoy the car for a year…

Hi all, I've read tons of post on Z problems and some were close, but none were exactly what I'm going through. The Problem: Bad jerking and stalling at constant speed. No problems with starting, idling, or acceleration. I've replaced the spark plugs, injector wires, and knock sensor. I also had my Z on the MOVAC. (system that cleans the injectors) It's a 92 TT Automatic J-spec with 135,000. Any help would be greatly appreciated. THX

I have read all the other threads on this subject, but some pictures, or an exploded veiw would be very usefull. And before anyone says, get an owners manual, i got one coming, but it may be a while before it gets to me!! Many thanks

Hi all, I have just bought a UK spec TT Auto J Reg ('90). I hear that a common problem on early model's is that the auto gearbox gets to hot. The car is a total origanal except for an alarm, should I go and get the rad changed, to stop this happening? Alastair.

A few times when I turn my car off I get a hissing noise from the fuel pump. The sound is very much like the hiss you get from the fuel cap when you open it, but louder and and it sounds like there is more pressure. As I said it has done this a few time before when I turn the engine off, but it has now done it once or twice when I turn the engine on. For example today I turned the engine and just after it started to go on its own accord their was a hiss from the back of the car, which I can only presume is the fuel pump. Does any one know what this is? Stuart

 The banana wants to ask a question. Just been reading how much you lot spend on bills etc, etc...and I know people have told me don't buy a Z if your worried about money, but I would like to know: How long you have owned the car How much have you spent on general maintenance (including MOT, tyres, brakes, oil. blah de blah) How much you have spent on repairs And finally how many people drive over 15,000 miles in it a year? Cheers The banana

Hi all, More than likely a silly question but I have only had my 300ZX for 2 days now. Is there any point on having dump valves on my TT Auto, as do you have to have a manual to get that whooossh sound from them? Also where is the best place to get them fitted. Thanks in advance for your help and bearing with stupidity :-) Alastair.
