I got the new tax disc holders here and want to chuck up a pic. Only thing is my phone was stolen over the weekend so can't use that and my new dig camera isn't set up either. If I use another camera phone and send the image to with someone with Bluetooth - can they post the pic up? Cheers.

Took the Zed out on Sunday. It was a very hot day so I had the aircon on hi. when I stoped I noticed water under the car. Was this condensate from the aircon? it did not seem to come from the radiator.

hello Ladies and Gents, I have been involved in alot of jap cars but never had a 300zx. I have recently sold off my american cars.. I suppose I should tell you details.. 1993 ZX Fairlady imported from Japan. 51K in miles now... it has a induction kit..(apexi) a single large silly exhaust.. you know which one.. and a few other mods.. its manual 5 speed and thats all i really know. I want it to go faster.. its slow as heck from 0-60... or so it seems. i think its restricted but am not sure as i…

  11. Well, I know the threads pop up as a result of things going wrong, let's face it, no one's going to start loads of threads saying how reliable and problem free their TT is. I'm hunting for one at the moment. Infact Jeff and Zedworld is on the case for me. He seems to have a good reputation on here, so quite confident he'll be able to get me a good one. Now, just getting cold feet looking at the money that people are spending on their cars. I cannot afford to have a car that is going to sap as much money as people are spending on repairs. I know this is a huge consideration that I've got to take. These cars are pricey to fix and one has to know this before purcha…

Arite gentlemen!! Had a thread a month ago for a new intake camshaft pulley well second hand, 550 from Nissan new  !! This is what i thought i needed to stop my oil leak which was comin from underneath the cambelt covers, ive replaced the camseals and there seems to be no leak comin from the gasket for the plenium the only thing i havnt replaced is the little o-rings at the front of the intake pulleys :smash: As anyone had simliar probs, any suggestions PLEASE!! Heard that old PVC valves can build up pressure inside the engine could this be a factor or am i reachin!! Due to replace them ASAP!!

Hi all, Just in the last few weeks or so my zed has developed a metallic whirring/rotary noise. Car runs as usual in all gears (AUTO Jap TT). If I leave the car in the "P" position i can hear it the most, then when I stick it in "D" it stops for a few seconds then comes back. Also the car seems to run the same and I have no obvious lack of power, Turbo gauge is as usual and only white steam on start up (as normal). Sounds like it is coming from the middle part at the back of the engine. Have been told it could be the oil pump. Could it be my auto box or a turbo is on the way out. Or could it be the prop shaft. If anybody couldshed some light I would be…

Anyone know what the difference between the 1989-1992, 1992 and 1992 onwards (not sure if these dates are right) air con condensers are? Is it possible to fit a post 1992 to a 1991 car? Or is the pipework completely different? TVMIAAU. Matt.

before i took the car out last weekend (and realised my speedo wasn't working) i topped it up with about 4-5 jugs of water because if you remember my water pump was leaking (that or the two pipes above it). well the car has been parked up all week and i drove it all this weekend and not a drop! it had been sitting for about 4-6 weeks before last weekends drive and i can't see how the leak has dissappeared. Checked the level last night and it was to the top of the rad, yes it was cold.

I just got three auto meter ultra-lite gauges fitted - boost, water temp and oil pressure. The boost gauge is working fine. The water temp starts at around 80c when cold and goes up to 115c when hot. Surely this can't be correct as the gauge only goes up to 120c ? My stock gauge has never moved over the "just below halfway" point ! The oil pressure gauge goes up to 100psi, which is where the needle seems to be most of the time when driving - it drops to around 90psi when idling - not sure this is right either ? Any ideas would be appreciated !!
