Hi Everyone, Where shall I start...OK I see a ad for a 300zx L reg uk spec auto TT in black (Dream car), the seller wanted 3500 for it. WOW im thinking perfect, I phone the seller who tells me that the car is in mint condition and has FSH by Nissan. The seller is based in Exeter and im based in Crawley west sussex about 225 miles away. After specking to the seller on the phone for a week I arrange to get a train over to pick the car up, at this stage its like Christmas for me......I get of the train and meet the guy at the station and I see the nose of the car in the car park (I fell in love with it), took it for a test drive which went all good, I aslo printed y…

Slightly confusing title but this is really for info only. My son has a tuned S13, we have just rebuilt the engine and on Sunday replaced the turbo. It had done about 200 miles on a decent 10w40 with no probs. Fitted the turbo and took the opp to change the oil, but we had no oil, duurhh. It was Sunday eve, so he went to the local gararge and bought some Semi 10w40, Esso. Tappets rattled on tickover. Changed it for Valvoline 15w40, quite as a mouse. Ok, I know the grades are different on the "third" oil, but the first and second were both 10w40. One was quiet, one was noisy. Anybody had a go at spraying scratches/scuffs on their bodywork themselves with a sray can, how easy is it ? where did you get the spray paint (nissan/halfrauds) and what is the match like for stock colours ? pointers on how to go about it would be good too cheers peeps Paul

well, where shell i start! build me engine up few weeks ago! with the followin! 88mm wiseco pistons egal rods new bearings complete gasket kit! new water and oil pump and had my turbos refurbed! anyways had a few teathing probs with it this past week (misfires) but all sorted! untill yesterday wen i pulled up in my drive and to see plumes of white smoke coming out the bk! so i checked my water temp and it was fine! left it running for abit and the smoke stoped! all was well again untill abit later where it did it again! Hi guyz and gals Got me 1st Zed on Monday, and she is lovely, but she didn't come with any instruction about what ALL these buttons do, i.e. the little switch next to gear stick (maybe i should mention its a 1991 j-spec twin turbo, automatic) not the overdrive button, the one done the bottom, ANYWAY!!!! just wondered if there was a page online somewhere that explained all the cruise control functions, climate control etc... etc... because I'm a stupid :xxx: and didn't ask the guy i got it from lol :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused: Cheers in advance Bandit... What are the differences between the j spec wheels and the uk wheels? I tried a search but couldn't find anything. Is it just sizes or do they look different too?

Hi all, i've had some new tyre's fitted to my car and guess what? they seem to have mixed up the wheel's direction wise!! Now i don't know which one's are fitted in the right direction but i have both side's of the car's wheel's pattern's opposite and the tyre's are on the right direction. look's like i may have to take them back and have them refitted but i don't know which one's are incorrect? :( Pic's or written info would be apprieciated !! Remember they are Uk wheel's !! I wonder how many owner's really know that they are directional wheel's :p

Does anyone know where to buy the little clips that attach to various panels (engine cover, wings, bumper etc,). Some have a 6mm threads and some are self tapping screw. Half mine are missing or rusted up. I think their called J-clips and they tap on to an edge with a small hammer.

any idea cost of veilside c2 body kit

Straight forward simple question. Basically my bodywork guy sprayed my rear bumper and he caught my HKS Dragger exhaust. Its got blue spray on it, how do i go about removing this? I got a cloth n put some spirit on it that didnt do the trick.

Of sell the zed as I need to get a house :( and need as much money as I can get.. I was just seeing how much people think I should ask for her Spec Jap TT, Man, K reg, gray, single side exhaust, apexi induction, koni shocks eibach springs, blitz wheels, recaro seats, HID kit, Z sport chip and decated Has a 99 front bumper 58000 miles had big 60k serves done when I got her and clifford alarm too.. Haven't had time to search the forum :slap: so the answer may be around somewhere, but... I'm trying to see if a rough running problem I have may be the AAV (i.e. the metal contraption bolted to the passenger's side of the plenum right at the back) by bypassing it. I propose to unplug the plenum tube from the valve and seal it off, but I need to know what the sensor on the valve does- is it open- or short- circuit depending on temperature, or is there a resestive load variable thingumybob? Failing that, please could someone stick a multimeter on the valve contacts when the ingine's hot and let me know what the resistance is? Cheers! Mark

Does anybody know who does a fast road ( strong ) rebuild for 91 NA auto box. Hopefully will have a spare box with clutch gone later this week when mine replaced, so thinking of getting spare rebuilt for later swap.
