Just thought id post to say what had caused my Zeee to misfire... Doin 70 then it started misfiring and speed droped to 50ish with no power in it. It would trundle along but not past 2500-3000rpm.... AHA i here you say...its the MAF Nope :nono: The CAS...nope :nono: The PTU...nope :nono: A fookin re-circ blanking cap had blown out...FPMSL :rofl: Luckily it was still on the undertray as it would of taken me ages to find that problem...not what i would of looked for really....so i thought id share if maybe oneday it saves someone alota bother and money replacing the MAF :rolleyes:

I wonder if anyone has had this same problem? I took the car in to have new Track rod ends fitted. At the same time I had the HIcas set up. I got the car back and since then it appears to have developed a wobble at slow speeds. Kinda like its got a buckled wheel? It seems to be from the rear end. I took it back to the garage and they examined the car and the bloke said it is most probably an unevenly worn tyre which dips a bit in the middle and this has only now shown up because it is all set up correctly. Now I aint no expert but that seems a bit of an excuse to me? Any thoughts would be gratefully recieved (however) sensible ones would be prefered?

Hi.. I hope someone can help... I have just bought a 300zx on ebay - its a 2+2 Fairlady TT import from Japan. The seller said that the Jap Fairlady TT models have 380 BHP standard... it seems alot compared with the other 300ZX's i come across... What are the differances between the UK and Jap spec cars?? are the fairlady models different?? I cant wait to get my hands on the car... its delivered next saturday!!! Cheers Z Man :dance:

hi ppl went two a brakers two day and found 2 300zx tt one man & an auto man had ecu it a plack on it saying MINES MOTOR SPORTS CREATOR is this super chiped ???? did have upgrad intcoolers as well. thanx

Hi guys!! Been doin some research on these fans and from the search above and from what ive learnt, you shouldnt be able to hear the fan spin when drivin the only time you seem to be able to hear it is from starting from her from cold you will hear it whirr for about 10 seconds then the fan will go silent again. This happins on my Zed but when she gets warm you can start to hear the vicous fan revving with the engine in a whirring noise, sounds a bit lke a huge hair dryer or a landrover!! And from what ive been told you should never to be able to hear the fan spinnin! Anyway is this a coupling prob or is it the fans clutch? Or are these the same thing? If s…

WOW im thinking perfect, I phone the seller who tells me that the car is in mint condition and has FSH by Nissan. The seller is based in Exeter and im based in Crawley west sussex about 225 miles away. Slightly confusing title but this is really for info only. My son has a tuned S13, we have just rebuilt the engine and on Sunday replaced the turbo. It had done about 200 miles on a decent 10w40 with no probs. Fitted the turbo and took the opp to change the oil, but we had no oil, duurhh. It was Sunday eve, so he went to the local gararge and bought some Semi 10w40, Esso. Tappets rattled on tickover. Changed it for Valvoline 15w40, quite as a mouse.
