Hello, I've subscribe so I asked questions ^^ My rear wheel have a game from left to right. I've already change the bearing but the game is still here. I've call nissan this morning and they told me that to change the toothed rack of HICAS it will cost around 6000€ :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal So I wondered before why they were selling HICAS eliminator in the Us but I think that can solve my problem, no? Is there any body here driving with this? is it ok? Sorry for my English

Eventually got it fitted - without removing anything (I removed battery for ease) but even that didnt have to be removed. Its a bastad of a job like but if anyone ever does need to replace their tube then dont pay £500 for engine removal/refit to do it.

I knew I should have kept my gob shut. Eventually got car running spot on at the week end. A firm call Camco sorted my ECU problem well I think they did. This morning car running sweet and clocked up about 20 miles. Think, Ah well I'd better start and tidy her up inside . You know pop ECU back in bracket and bolt down and srick a couple of the pannel back. As soon as I moved the ECU I have no starter motor and no fooking car. Have tried every thing I can think of and it seem to be a relay behind fuse box in driver foot well . Anyone shed any light on this please.

today the small fan fitted in the roof bar (at the front just behind the 2 spot lights) started rattling and squeeking and really annoying me. so i thought i'll turn the aircon off, but the fan kept going, basically the fan runs as soon as i turn the ignition on. is this right? i asume the small component stuck on the bottom of the fan unit is the temperature sensor for the headspace of the car for the automatic aircon but why have the fan blow at the temp sensor? maybe the temp sensor is nackerd and causing the fan to run constantly , but i would have thought all fans should stop irespective when you press the aircon off button???

Got a replacement for my 1990 TT as I suspect its sprung a leak. Only thing is the design of the raplcement is different - The metal pipe at the neck is shorter and so it doesnt want to locate onto the pump assembly. Does anyone know if Nissan have more than one part number depending on the year of the car, or is there a knack to pushing the pipe down the engine so its all at the right angle. Thanks for any help.

Anyone know a good auto electrician that will call at home and rewire my stereo / speakers. Took the head unit out to find that it is a real mishmash under the dash - I even found household eletrical wire for the speakers!!! I could probably do it myself but that way I have to spend a lot of time and have no comeback if it goes horribly wrong.

ok, since getting back from jae, can hear gurgling coming from both front wings. after a lookie through some old posts i gather this is a pcv problem. i also gather there has been alot of conversation on the removal of pcv's could someone please answer a few questions for me cos i read through all the posts my mind was swimming with different information!! (or was that swimming with beer? :duffer: ) when the pcvs gurgle what is actually wrong with them??? what do they actually do!!! what benefits are there from removing them??? what is involved (cost time and parts wise) with replacing/repairing them??? what is involved in removing…

Hi, I have a SWB now as well as a LWB, what have you guys done with regard to music, to be precise rear speakers? Thinking of building something for them right behind the seats, one each side, or maybe a sub in the middle on that stupid weak flat thing. Any ideas?

Getting quite excited now. Just had an email from the dealer I'm getting it from. Car has now arrived in Southampton and clearance papers have been submitted. Car is being delivered today or tomorrow. :mac1: On Saturday myself Richard Smith and Gio are going to have a good look over it and take it for a drive. So I'll put down a proper deposit then as I only have a holding deposit. :hyper: Sorry for this rather boring thread......

Hi all, I replaced my battery last year with a nice Bosch one but recently have found that it is draining within 4 days if the car is not driven. Yesterday, I got a flat and within an hour, the battery was flat (I had the ignition on without the engine turning). Surely that doesn't sound right?? Any ideas if it's just a dodgy battery or could it be something else? Cheers Vijay

I need help! I'm gettting a glug, glug, glug sound coming from the bottom of the engine, it sounds like fluid moving. The noise used to go away once the car had a good run. Could a worn oil pump do this or could it be something worse? I have removed the AIV's so it can't be them, i'm hoping its nothing major!

Can anyone verify these are from a skyline (33,34)? They are for sale advertised as from a skyline and were fitted on a Zed by the last owner. I'm not sure the current seller could confirm they were from a skyline originally though (search for past posts). He didn't get them long ago. Dave
