Has anyone got the wireing for the stock electric aerial (dash end) on my 91 jap. It has an after market head unit and wirea have been choped, but I think they are all still there.. I have two wires at the back and guess that one is + and pne is - they both go back into the loom and there is no earth to the body at this point. Thanks Chris...

howdy peeps, got a bit of a problem! dropped a mate off at stanstead airport yesterday afternoon, started overheating about 7 or 8 miles before i got there. by the time i arrived it was making a rattling noise and smoking some. when it finally cooled it wouldnt start, very juddery when turning over and the water smelt of oil. gonna go back when i can get hold of my mates trailer and get it home - if it is head gasket, (pretty sure it is), what parts will i need to replace (gather ill need lots of gaskets and stuff for the plenum??), and is there anything else i should be doing at the same time??? i can leave it in a barn at the top of t…

When cold the car sometimes starts off idling at 2k which I'd say ain't normal, so when you change gear at low revs the revs jump up when you press the clutch.....goes away after a few mins. Any ideas guys? Ta.

Was having a look at the arse end of my zed and was just thinking.....wonder if a Laguna rear wiper would make it look a tad more modern....what do you think? Reckon it would look right on it?

My gearstick has a lot of play in it. I'm guessing there is a bush somewhere thats worn out or missing. Can they be done with the 'box in situ?

Hi guys and gals, my AC temp readout always says - 86 i think its the ambient temp. Anyway fitted another fan thingy in the pod in roof cause i didnt have one hoping it would sort it. Any idea if and where any other sensors are or any idea what the problem is. cheers bubbles

Help, while I fitting the nearside headlight panel the bolt popped off and conveniently jumped into the radiator! What are the chances of that, but I had the cap off to fit the panel. Anyway, what problems are a loose bolt and both the washes with it going to cause me? :headvswal

Fitted 2 baileys dump valve y'day, sounding sweet but was wanting to move them out from under the headlights (where the old circ' valve were) so that people can see them when bonnet is up - is it just a case of running a longer hose from the valves+would it make the noise quieter if the hose is longer, has any1 done this?

I got a 300zx TT on tuesday gone. Everything was fine and dandy and I was feeling uber driving my new 300+ bhp beast. That was until about 10 minutes after I got it out of the dealer and she wouldnt start. Long story short... Very tempremental with starting. And when im at a standstill in drive, and go to pull away, she stutters and tries to cut out. Sometimes she cuts out, other time she holds in their and flies off. Any ideas what the problem might be? I'm trying to find a decent service centre in the hertfordshire region, but no luck. Anyone know of any? Cheers

Does anybody have an Autobox with Smooth Gearchanges? Im on my 3rd box and 1st to 2nd jerks into gear and sometime 2nd to 3rd drags like ive hit the brakes. It just seems every box i have is crap, ive never felt a decent gearchange in my car since the day i had it. I know the 1st box was faulty as it lost 2nd gear, but the last box which i thought was faulty was just as smooth as my current one albeit the current one chages gear on the limit very well. Its just slow driving and my gearbox doent get on. If i rant the *****x of it its fine.

Mite be a daft question but does any1 know where the speed sensor is+is it easy to get to and change?

Good morning people. I have recently replaced my HICAS rack complete with arms as mine had play in them and had all 4 wheels aligned. Anyway, last night was the first time I had driven her in the wet since doing this. I went home the normal way and came to a steady left hand corner. I was doing around 25 mph (usually much faster in the dry). Anyway, I slowly increased my speed in 3rd gear to just over 30 mph, then, all of a sudden, out came the rear, I mean proper opposite lock to correct from going down the road sideways. HI all i have been busy today spraying removable part's of my Zed which as you can see from my ride's section used to be TH1 Dark Blue. I have sprayed the front bumper,both front wing's and the headlight panel and finished it off by puting the Zed badge on upside down :rofl: :( :D

taking z to france next week french autoroutes :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: the GB sticker the rac kindly sent to me is the size of a football and theres no way that is going anywhere near my Z can i get away with a clingy one for the rear window or does it have to be fully visible - if so do they actually come off again or are they there for life?? just wondered what any of you had done when driving abroad?? darren

Just a quickie, hopefully someone can answer. What are the sizes for the standard discs on the 300zxTT and what are the sizes for the standard discs on an r34 gtr?
