I've just borrowed an ECU to try in place of mine to try cure an intermittant stumble. I've noticed it has NOT got the same numbers on it. Mines got 22 on it and the new one 23. Will this make any difference. Is it an auto transmission unit or are they all the same?

Hi Chris, was wondering if you sell the Auto Gauge Smoke Series range of gauges? If so do you know if they are any good and how much would they be please? I would be looking for Water Temp, Oil Pressure and Boost. Also a price for a 3 gauge A pillar pod and the gauge pod that fits under the stereo please. Cheers Ross

Hello everyone, I’m planning on buying a Nissan 300zx with one or two turbos and would really appreciate some help. Where should I start looking for the errors in the motor and the electronics in average? I assume the turbos are one of the biggest risk factors in old cars like these, are there any way to see in what condition they are? And if you have any other tips for me as a new 300zx buyer, please tell me :)

Hi I am going to have my Z engine rebuilt and am considering what turbos to have with it, the engine will have a full rebuld with forged pistons etc but I can get the following turbos at present and wonder if people think thay would be a good improvment or if I should go for a different set of turbos. Im currently considering Skyline r33/34 tubs modified to fit ZX .60Ar Compressor, Super 60 compressor wheel, .64 Ar turbine housing and T28 turbine wheel please let me know what you recommend if anything better than that. Im told that if I can get 5 bolt downpipes and rotate the intakes slightly then they will fit fine but if anyone has any better options please let me …

Hello all, Newibe needing advice, I have liked the 300zx for years and now finally (or at least in a couple of months time) I may be in the position to buy one. However before I take the plunge I just want to make sure that i'm not going to end up regretting it. basically I need to get an idea of how much these cars cost to run. I am aware that I would be unlikely to get much more than 20mpg out of it but how much on average does it cost to keep one serviced and maintained. I currently have a BMW328 and I put aside £100 a month which covers tax test tyres and servicing for the year. Is a 300ZX likley to cost much more than this? Also I live in the North east of …

Hi Guys and Gals Got new tires fitted to the front of my Zed and asked to have the tracking done as it's pulling to the left. The bloke said the lock nuts on the track rods have siezed and they cant undo them. I suggested a longer spanner but I just got puzzled looks. Took the car round to several other 'garages' and they said there is nothing they can do. Apparantly if you heat them up they will fail MOT as the plastic in the trackrod end will melt. Any one here have any ideas?? I'm unable to do the work my self as I'm on holiday at ATM. Its not a major drama as I'm getting it all replaces in the near future. Thanks Andrew :)

  22. Evenin all :duffer: BbbuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrPP This link :- http://www.splparts.com/Parts/Z32/Brakes/Upgrades/default.asp In the "Big Rotor Upgrade" says about early 90s having 28mm caliper instead of 30mm... It says:- "Note: 30mm calipers required, kit does not work with early 90 model 28mm calipers. 17" wheels are required for clearance. This kit has the same offsets as stock brakes, so the kit will fit with any 17" or larger wheels that fit with stock brakes." I have a 90model...how do i tell...and what part do i measue? Will this affect whether i can fit r34gtr calipers or their discs and so on???? Thankyou please :D
