Hi guys, Just been for an MOT and been informed I have a split somewhere in the steering rack and a fluid leak. Just wondering how much the rack is new (from Nissan only or can you get them elsewhere?) and what the opinion is on getting a second hand one put in? Thanks in advance PJ

I've just been offered a full Skyline R34 front Brembo setup including 'uprated' discs. What do you think these might be worth ? Additionally, what would my std Jap Import front calipers be worth ? They're the smart aluminimum ones rather than the cast iron UK spec jobbies. I hear that the 200sx guys use these as an upgrade.

Further to the other thread(s) on how to repair your peeled dash... yesterday I noticed that due to the heat the dash was pretty flexible. I was worried it would peel of even more!! So I wedged a blanket between the screen and the peeled up section to hold it down. In the evening it stayed down :) Probably won't last long without appling glue (as mentioned in the other thread) but I reckon with this heat, now is the time to do it as the dash will press down nice and easy when hot.

Hey all. Ok firstly i had another post on this page. Basically i've been told that my coils may have been burnt due to a bad ptu by some helpful chaps on this forum :) What basically happened woz that one coil in particular would keep burning out. By putting another one in, in this process another one got burnt and then another in the same coil area. I got told in the end by the mechanic that one of the wires must be shortcircuiting. He checked the wires the other day and hes saying that it must be the ignition control. This is where i come to a problem. 1) Do you guys think it is still the PTU causing the burnt coils? 2) Could the ignition control be a possibilty?…

Hi all my insurance is due for re-newal in a couple of week's and i got a reasonable quote back but i wondered if there were any of you on here that currently have your import insured on a classic policy with limited mileage. My import is now 16 years old now and i only use it mainly at weekend's so i am looking for a classic car insurer that would be willing to insure a 16year old Jap import? Any help or link's would be appriecciated. ;)

Anyone know where I can get a single gauge mount? I've already got 3 pillar gauges. Don't want to make my dash look like a christmas tree but, would have to pay the garage to remove one of the other gauges so I might as well Just get a single mount. Needs to be a smart one , preferably that matches the 3 pod mount. Any ideas? Cheers Dave
