Hi, my TT is in the bodyshop haveing a veilside kit fitted and flip paint ( :hyper: ). im getting rid of the spoiler and rear wiper and also the aerial which brings me to my question, seen as im getting shut of the wiper ive no need for the washer jet so im thinking of putting a small bee-sting aerial in the hole were the washer jet is, does anyone know if this is possible and/or know of any problems in doing this. any sugestions would be apreciated Cheers Si

Anyone know how much travel there should be in the slave cylinder push rod? I'm still having problems with gear selection and I've pressure bled the system to death, adjusted the pedal travel to the top and adjusted the free play to give the maximum travel as well. I get less than 2cm travel. If anyone's got their car up on stands, I'd hugely appreciate someone measuring this so I can help locate the source of my woes! Cheers.

Ive got hold of mattys old Z, so its fairly modded, runnning a jwt chip, derestricted exhaust, apexi filter.. few other tweaks and my profec b is in the post..... so wondering how much boost is safe to run on a z... my old s14 was able to run 17/18psi fairly safe, but guessing thats not a good idea on this...

my headlights are pretty dim when dipped, just wondering if this is why everyone talks about HID kits.. is a cheaper option to swap the bulbs out for the halfords style 30% brighter bulbs or are these just a waste of ££££????

Hi all, I want to buy my first 300ZX and wanted some advice. I used to have a 200sx Turbo some years ago, but with the 300zx its totally differnent. Firstly, whats the right price to pay? I'd like to pay around £5000 max, and theres plenty of examples out there, although there do appear to be Twin Turbo Z's with say 60k for £2000 in AutoTrader. What kind of things should I look for when buying a 300ZX? What do they suffer from? Also I wondered whether its advisable to buy pre modded 300ZX's?? I saw a nice one with tuning gear taking it to an apparent 390BHP for £5k, which I thought was brilliant, but can the stock lump take that upgrade? (turbos, injectors…

Hi all, I hope someone can give me some pointers. I've got a fresh import Fairlady Z Twin turbo, manual gearbox. It has a running problem, symptoms as follows: On the road it won't rev past 5,000rpm, but it will when not under load, eg. when stationary. It occasionally stalls. No warning lights come on and the ECU fault led flashes '55' when checked (I think that means no faults). This is a car I'm fixing for someone else and unfortunately I don't have access to another similar one to swap bits so I'd like to know what order to attempt fixes in. I've changed the fuel filter (underbonnet one) as that was my first thought and I had a new one on the shelf. …

Why is it you only ever see them when your not it yours? Saturday lunchtime a V nice black one on Formby bypass heading to Tesco's and then later in Southport, a silver one going down Rotten Row. The only way mine's ever going to be spotted is if there's a public footpath going past ZTech!

moring all, thinking of brightening up the dash and was considering a blue LED conversion. Anyone had this done? ANy other idea's for making the dash a little more welcoming?
