Wanted to put a new scuttle on my ZED

 

Thats the plastic bit that surrounds the wipers along the bottom of the windscreen.

 

Nissan wanted £140 squid ...my god ..gulp

 

I am now trying to rub down the piece and get a good finish as it.

 

It had sort of black spots on it. Then Ill re-spray..

 

Anyone else had a go at this item.

Yep. I got 2 new ones then had them sprayed with black glossy heat retardent paint. Since my car is black it looks excellent. They can get scuffed very quickly and look sh*te when even a bit tatty so it was well worth the £30 to have painted...
