Anyone other than me thought about using sillicone sealant to seal all round the roof for the winter? All gaps so no water can get in at all. If it works it would be the ultimate cheap solution for what has to be the fastest sieve in the world.

I thought about sealing all round the roof but I sealed a couple of places where there were gaps in the rubber that looked likely culprits on the drivers side and hey presto no leaks (so far!)

Considering how much it's chucking down at the moment I really need to sort out the leaks! A wet leg when going to work is not good! LOL
