Had my boost gauge plumbed in for a while but the sparky keeps letting me down. So In thought may as well hae a go at wiring up the gauge for illumination myself, can't be that hard LOL. I've been told to open the cruise control pod and attach the wires then, but I'm not sure where to, can anyway that has a 1993 Jap TT tell me which wires to use? I have attached a pic of the area I'm planning to use, just need to figure out which plug then which wires. Cheers.

Been trying to sort my boost controller lately but when doing so, I noticed the vac/boost piping that goes to the controller is 6mm but the piping that goes to the external wastegates is 8mm. So there's a reducer/expander in there. I'm just wondering if this matters at all or if it's too small to make much difference.

Look at these I know they are Recaros but not the model or part. These would be a good choice for an OEM+ interior. Anyone recognise them?

So although my ideal Zed is a SWB TT Manual (pref. Slicktop) I went to look at a LWB NA Auto today. http://www.gumtree.com/p/nissan/nissan-300zx-/1113605959 I thought it looked quite clean and straight in the pics and the description gave the impression it had seen some recent expenditure in all the right areas with regards to maintenance. As it was only a short trip up the M4 I went to take a look with cash in hand. Unfortunately it was so much less than I imagined. Dents in several panels, rust on arches and cills. Massive lip on rusty discs and cheap tyres. Wheels dire, paintwork way beyond correcting. Engine bay disgusting, tears in several interior p…

Hi ! I have a 91 TT auto. Import. I have converted the speedo from KPH to MPH Does this mean the odometer revolves round in MPH since the conversion? Reason of asking is, in the past year I seem to have clocked up 5K miles reading the odometer! This seems a lot of miles as it is not my daily driver. If the odometer is still revolving in KPH then it's 3.5K miles! Suppose I could drive 5 miles in my daily then take the Z on same route to see if odometer reads 8k.

Hi Guys. Looking to change out my front bypass hoses as I suspect a small leak might be from there. Just wondering if its a fairly straight forward job to do? Pull the rad and fan to get proper access and take it from there? Any help gratefully received! Thanks. :)

just working through the cruise system to try and find my fault , my car is a series 2 auto, I have two switches on the break pedal , one white one black, when testing for continuity on the bench they work opposite to each other, one is NO and the other NC Is this correct or should they both be NC when mounted, and the break pedal is in its normal return position. ( so the switch plunger is depressed). anyone got a Scooby ?

My mate has his own windscreen company . I'm looking at getting a new screen in my slicktop he says he can get me bronze / bronze top tint screen on special order needs to be made for £250 plus fitting or a blue screen for £100 plus fitting . So it seems you can get bronze screens but there big money . Think I'll go for blue / blue uk screen .

I've been trying to isolate a chronic boost leak and just can't for the love of god find out what the issue is. Currently I've got the front end of my Z off (and as a result I've now missed my MOT) checking as much of the pipework as possible, everything is tight, all the hoses are fitted correctly and in good condition yet the boost needle sits on 0. I have an additional boost leak somewhere else which I have had for a while that I can't identify either noticed by when off boost, vacuum doesn't drop totally to -14 (sits around -10) Despite rigging it up to a boost leak detector, absolutely NOTHING and it's driving me up the ****ing wall. What else can I possib…

Am I correct in that I saw a post here recently where someone said the high pressure hose can be rebuilt if i take the old one to a hose specialist engineer type place? If so, what specification hose would i require? If not, hey ho....I'll just buy a new one instead Secondly, I've started the Zed up for the first time since Nov/Dec, and heard a loud (ish) tapping from the drivers side of the head/block area until the oil warmed up on idle as i recharged the battery...should I be worried, or is there something else I should be checking during the annual fluids and filters change? Thanks.

My paddle clutch decided to break up on me last night, so I'm in need of a good replacement clutch. Does anyone know any UK based companies that sell a good uprated clutch, probably good for 450bhp. I was going to get the RPS street clutch, but I'm concerned how long delivery from the states will be. Thanks!
